Discover the scenic side of life at Maybe you've never thought about where the center of the 48 contiguous United States would be if it was an equal thickness cardboard cut-out and balanced on a pole to find the center. In 1918 some folks did just that and found it to be near Lebanon, Kansas. Now you know! People stop by daily to check it out, according to the volunteer on duty the day we did just that.
