Luganville is the second largest city of the South Pacific island nation of Vanuatu. We had the opportunity on our cruise with the Sun Princess for a day to get to know this area in the South Sea. We bathed in the Blue Hole Matevulu, felt the South Sea feeling on the beachfront near Luganville and snorkeled a sunken helicopter wreck from World War II. Before leaving we visited the many souvenir shops and a small local cafe, a successful day, as so often in the South Seas with little sun.
Luganville ist die zweitgrößte Stadt des südpazifischen Inselstaates Vanuatu. Wir hatten die Gelegenheit auf unserer Kreuzfahrt mit der Sun Princess einen Tag lang diese Gegend in der Südsee kennenzulernen. Wir haben im Blue Hole Matevulu gebadet, an der Beachfront in der Nähe von Luganville das Südseefeeling gespürt und ein versenktes Helicopter Wrack aus dem zweiten Weltktieg beschnorchelt. Our Holiday In Vanuatu
So I took a few videos on our holiday, and put them together to make a little film of our stay in Vanuatu. Such an amazing place that was ridiculously hot and is home to the friendliest, most humble people that all went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome. After being hit by cyclone Pam in March of this year, the people are continuing to rebuild their home with big smiles on their faces whilst providing us with amazing accommodation and an experience of a lifetime.
