The easiest way to get around in China is by using the motorcycle taxis. They are cheap, and get you places fast.
Rides vary from 50 cents to $3 if you are going far. It is inconvenient for the drivers to go far so they charge more. This is because they usually hang out in one specific area and feed off the same customers. However getting those far rides on a bike really beats a taxi especially during rush hour.

連州市是中國廣東省清遠市下轄的一個縣級市，位於廣東省的西北部，北江支流連江的上游。北面與靠湖南省交界。
現轄10個鎮2個民族鄉，全市總面積2663平方公里。
連州是廣東省歷史文化名城。西漢初（公元前183年）立縣，隋朝開皇十年（公元590年）建州，稱連州。明洪武二年(1369)三月，桂陽州省入連州，1912年改為連縣，1994年4月經國務院批准撤縣設市並改名為連州。
連州於2000多年前便有歷史記載，許多歷史上的著名人物，如唐代文學家韓愈，詩人劉禹錫，北宋哲學家周敦頤，南宋宰相張浚、學者張式，明代詩人屈大均，清代學者翁方綱等文人雅士、墨客騷人都在這裡留下了詩文、墨跡和碑記。連州又是古代兵家必爭之地，漢代伏波將軍路博德、南宋著名將領岳飛以及唐朝黃巢都在連州駐守過。當年鄧小平、張雲逸曾率領紅七軍轉戰連州，留下一段佳話。連州還是唐朝宰相劉瞻、晚唐詩人孟賓於和抗日名將馮達飛的故鄉。如今，連州還是第三批全國城市環境綜合整治優秀城市，全國體育先進市、優秀旅遊城市、廣東省旅遊中心城市。
