Is this the UK's most scenic drive? The 21 mile drive dubbed 'Little Switzerland' in Minehead is the best way to get a taste of England in such a small amount of time hence us dubbing it Little England. From coastal views of the South West to English villages to the Valley of the Rocks, this makes it one of the UKs best driving roads. We started at the YHA in Minehead and made our way to Lynton to pick up a map first before heading out. This journey was a real stand out in our UK travel vlog series, Exmoor national park is as beautiful as it is varied.

In 2017 we left home with just £500 in our bank account and a dream to make a sustainable full time travel lifestyle happen! We are now living our dream as digital nomads and want to inspire you to create your own story, whatever it may be!
After 5 years of aimless, yet enjoyable, backpacking around the world we found ourselves in New York City battling with depression. At this point, we decided to go home and confront this problem head on. After 6 tough months at home we decided to go away again, but this time with a goal in mind.. to turn travel into a lifestyle.
Our time spent battling depression has influenced our outlook on life dramatically! We are now travelling the world in search of what makes us happy. In our vlogs, we talk openly and honestly about our travel experiences, the digital nomad life and depression. We hope our videos can help to inspire you to create a life that makes you happy!

The pairing of fresh green countryside and buzzing historical cities makes Devon a unique UK destination, offering both serenity and excitement.
Places to see in ( Lynton - UK )
Places to see in ( Lynton - UK )
Lynton is a small town on the Exmoor coast in Devon, England standing on top of the cliffs above the picturesque harbour village of Lynmouth, to which it is connected by the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway. Lynton was once the terminus for the narrow-gauge Lynton & Barnstaple Railway, which served both towns.
In Lynton is the Parish Church of St Mary, which stands overlooking the sea, surrounded by shops and hotels. The tower is mainly 13th century but the church itself has been enlarged and altered — most notably in 1741, when the nave was rebuilt, and later in Victorian times.
Many of the town's buildings were constructed in the latter part of the 19th century and the early 20th century. The town hall was given to the town by Sir George Newnes, Bart., a major benefactor of the town; it was opened on 15 August 1900. He also gave the town the Congregational church on Lee Road. Evidence of Iron Age activity can be found at the nearby Roborough Castle. The novel Lorna Doone was set in the Lynton area.
The South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail pass through, and the Two Moors Way runs from Ivybridge in South Devon to Lynmouth; the Samaritans Way South West runs from Bristol to Lynton and the Coleridge Way from Nether Stowey to Lynmouth. Half a mile to the west are the spectacular Valley of Rocks and Wringcliff Bay.
( Lynton - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Lynton . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Lynton - UK

England's most scenic A Road
A drive along the A591, in the Lake District, probably the most scenic stretch of A road in England, although fans of the A592 may beg to differ. The road features classic views of the Langdale Pikes across Windermere, Rydal Water, Fairfield, Loughrigg Fell, Nab Scar, and Grasmere, as well as passing through the town of Ambleside and hamlet of Rydal, where William Wordsworth lived from 1813 until his death in 1850.
The region featured on the video is not only wonderful to drive through, it is the finest walking country in England. If you fancy getting out of the car and on to the fells then why not check out our guide book page, which has a range of easy to use walking books featuring walks both high and low throughout the region. Devon: Valley of Rocks and Coastal Villages
See more details on the blog:
We took a quick trip over to the villages of Lynmouth & Lynton and the nearby Valley of the Rocks after recommendations from cousins and locals. The scenic North Devon coast towns are connected by the Lynton and Lynmouth Clifftop Railway. The Valley of Rocks hike is fairly short with a paved path and grazing baby goats on the cliffs. We of course treated ourselves to a cream tea overlooking the harbor below while the weather passed.

The West Country: A Guided Tour of Southwest England
Enjoy this sample of a guided tour of Southwest England, a land rich in history and drama.
This 45 minute video released in March 2000 is filled with exotic locations, unforgettable images, and well-crafted narration. Not a how-to-do-it travel video, but rather this video treats the history of the area with emphasis on its contrasts and conflicts. The DVD is available at amazon.com .
Included in the full version of The West Country are visits to Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Avon, Wiltshire, and Dorset counties. No rain and wind here, just sunny days and beautiful countryside. We visit cathedrals, ancient cities, mysterious structures, castles, and treacherous coastlines.
Produced by John Woods and Keith Cash, and narrated by Kevin Pierce.
Available at amazon.com on DVD and VHS.
