Jaldapara National Park is a national park situated at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas in Alipurduar District of northern West Bengal and on the banks of the Torsa River. Jaldapara is situated at an altitude of 61 m and is spread across 216.51 km2 of vast grassland with patches of riverine forests. It was declared a sanctuary in 1941 for protection of its great variety flora and fauna. Today, it has the largest population of the Indian one horned rhinoceros in the state, an animal threatened with extinction, and is a Habitat management area . The nearby Chilapata Forests is an elephant corridor between Jaldapara and the Buxa Tiger Reserve Near by is the Gorumara National Park, known for its population of Indian rhinoceros.

3. Jhalong - Jhalang is a small hilly village at India-Bhutan Border. It's on the way to Last village of North Bengal bordering India and Bhutan i.e., Bindu. Bhutan Hills are visible from Jhalong village because Jaldhaka River stands here as 'Border'. This side of Jaldhaka River is 'Jhalong', India and other side is Bhutan.
4. Samsing - Samsing is known for Tea Gardens. Yes, this whole area of Samsing consists of beautiful picture-perfect tea gardens in Dooars region. There are two tourist spots in Samsing and they are Rocky Island and Laliguras View Point. On the banks of Murti River, Samsing is situated in Darjeeling-Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal.
5. Suntaley Khola - A small village near Samsing. Suntalekhola / Santalikhola / Suntalikhola is becoming a tourist spot for Hanging Bridge over Suntaley River (Khola).

Lava is a small hamlet situated 34 kilometres east of the town of Kalimpong near Algarah in Kalimpong district of the state of West Bengal, India. Lava is situated at an altitude of 7,016 feet.

Loleygaon is a small Lepcha village with a population of about 5000. It is situated in the extreme end of a Himalayan ridge. It is located at a distance of 24 km from Lava, at an altitude of 1,675 meters.

Rishop or also spelt as Rishyap is a Himalayan hamlet in West Bengal. 2591 m above sea-level, it's a nice quaint village away from city crowds, with picturesque views of snow-capped mountains. The sun plays vermillion through the day. At night the big sky seems to come closer. Beneath the sky the twinkling lights of Gangtok & Pedong are similar to the twinkling stars above. Tourists are attracted by the natural beauty of Neora Valley National Park (Sikkim) & Tiffindara. Both are enjoyed through trekking route which is a deep silent forest of pine, birch, fir & orchids with some soothing path following the chirps.
