Amazing Road Journey from Tezpur to Tawang HD | Arunachal Pradesh, India
Tezpur to Tawang distance is 325 km.
It will take 13 hours by road due to hilly area, curves and bad road.
This journey was started by Shared Sumo from Tezpur.
I reached Tezpur from Shivsagar early morning at 4 am.
As soon as I reached Tezpur bus station people gathered around me asking to come with them to book ticket for Tawang.
People were quoting price ranging from INR 600 to 750.
The fixed price is INR 750.
Shared Sumo will leave Tezpur at 6 am and will reach 7pm to Tawang.
Sumo will take only two stop. One for Breakfast and permit checking and for Lunch.
You need Inner Line Permit to visit Arunachal Pradesh.
You can get Permit in Main cities of Arunachal Pradesh or you can also get at the entry point of Arunachal Pradesh.
But the office will open at 9am and your vehicle will reach get about 8-8.30am.
Driver perfer you should get permit before hand so that they will not waste their time on gate.
The journey is full of Curves so anybody have motion sickness problem can have one tablet one hour before travel.
Shared sumo have one disadvantage that you can not stop the vehicle wherever you want.
There are lots of spots on the road where you wants to stop but can't.
Hiring private vehicle is good option if you are in groups.
It will cost you 4000-4500 one way.
If you taking journey from Guwahati To Tawang you have to take one break in Bomdilla and next day morning can leave for Tawang.
From Tezpur to Tawang you can cover journey in one day.
Guwahati to Tezpur distance is 185km and it takes 4 hours to reach.
Guwahati to Tezpur is one of the best road journey in India.

Ukiam is a village in Kamrup rural district, situated in south bank of river Brahmaputra.[1] It is in the Assam Meghalaya border. The place is also famous for Picnic goers and sightseeing as the beautiful Kulsi river passes through the place and also two other rivers joins the Kulsi here.The village is near National Highway 37 and connected to nearby towns and cities with regular buses and other modes of transportation. The nearest city to Ukiam is Chhaygaon which is about 28 km away. The road has been newly constructed in 2014 and is in good condition

After the Bhalukpong railway station of Arunachal i moved for Bomdila, first i went to road and then i got hitchhike in a vehicle
I saw the beautiful and fresh water kameng river of Arunachal Pradesh, after that some beautiful village and bamboo picle (bamboo ka achaar )
We cress many army camps and then nearly 3pm i reached at Rupa valley and i took one Hotel there and slept there that night in Rupa Valley of Arunachal
