Colorado, a western U.S. state, has a diverse landscape of arid desert, river canyons and snow-covered Rocky Mountains, which are partly protected by Rocky Mountain National Park.
Colorado is known all over the country as one of the most active, happy, safe, outdoorsy, and all around naturally beautiful states in the U.S.

The outstanding Badlands of South Dakota not only boast a remarkable landscape but, without a doubt, are also extremely important for the conservation of wildlife.
