We will show you all the colorful corners of the park, walking through the rose parterres, flower arches and romantic pergolas. You can enjoy the aerial views of Barcelona sitting in one of the shaded squares surrounded by variety of trees. You may even find the fruit trees blossoming if you are in the right season.
A great place to go for a run or cycling or just spend a couple of hours in harmony with nature, just strolling through the park or even having a picnic or taking a nap among flower meadows. Also there are some table tennis spots for the lovers of this activity.
In Park de Cervantes Barcelona holds International New Roses Competition every year in the middle of the spring from 12 to 14 May, where you can even participate in voting for the best rose variety. You can find out more about the competition following this link:
It is located in the upper part of Barcelona in Les Corts region which is by itself worth a visit if you want to discover other Barcelona as it's quite different from the most common touristic places. The fastest way to get there is by metro, getting off on the final station of gree line 3 Zona Universitaria. The buses that stop nearby are 7, 33, 67, 75, 113, H6, L14, L79.
The entrance to the park is free. The opening hours vary according to the period of the year. In winter (01.11 - 31.03) it's open from 10:00 to 19:00h, and in summer (01.04 - 31.10) from 10:00 to 21:00h.
We had lived in Barcelona for 3 years and decided to share the best parks that we discovered and enjoyed the most.

This time in the Barcelona Best Parks series we take you to Barcelona's oldest conserved garden - Park del Laberint. It was originally created in 1791 and it has a lot to offer for the lovers of green spaces. In the video you'll see all the hidden corners of the park, its flora and fauna, some architectural peculiarities and of course we'll walk you through the main speciality of the park - the labyrinth.

This is a great place to visit when you search for something more private and secluded than a normal park and also want to be closer to nature and water fountains.
It is located in Horta-Guinardo region on the slope of the hill from Colserolla ridge. You can easily get to this park by taking the green line №3 in direction of Trinitat Nova, the name of the stop is Mundet. Alternatively, you can take some bus lines: 27, 60, 76, B19, H4, V21. The bus lines with letter H are considered to be faster than the rest lines.
The entrance to the park will cost you 2,23€ for the general ticket, but you may benefit from different discounts which you can research in advance. On Wednesdays and Sundays the entrance is free. Normally the park is closed after dark, the opening hours differ according to the time of the year. From 1 November to 31 March it's open from 10:00h to 19:00h. And from 1 April to 31 October the opening hours are 10:00h to 20:00h. Check the holiday schedule as it may affect the opening hours or the park could be closed.
It's not allowed to enter with the pets or any vehicles including bikes, skates etc. and even balls.

El Parc Natural del Delta de l'Ebre és un dels espais naturals més visitats de Catalunya i també un dels més ben gestionats, tal com ho demostra la seva adaptació a persones amb disminució física i la qualitat dels seus serveis, factors que són bàsics a l'hora d'incloure el Parc Natural com un dels vint-i-un parcs de l´Estat que tenen el certificat de la Carta Europea de Turisme Sostenible. L'encontre entre el riu Ebre i la Mediterrània produeix més de 320 quilòmetres quadrats de superfície de dunes, badies, salines i llacunes, que donen forma a una zona d'una riquesa paisatgística incomparable. Les aus i les espècies vegetals, tant d'ecosistemes líquids-salats com d'aigua dolça, són un dels grans atractius. La importància de l'ecosistema del Delta de l'Ebre ve ratificada pel fet que el Parc Natural estigui declarat com a zona d'especial protecció de les aus a nivell internacional (ZEPA). The Ebro Delta National Park is one of the most visited natural areas in Catalonia, and also one of the best managed, as can be seen by provisions for the physically disabled and the quality of their services, basic factors when including this National Park as one of the twenty-one parks in Spain with the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism Certificate. Where the Ebro River and the Mediterranean
meet, there are more than 320 kilometres of sand dunes, bays, salt marshes and lagoons, forming an area of incomparable landscapes. The bird and vegetable species, as well as salt water and fresh water eco-systems are one of the biggest attractions. In fact the importance of the Ebro Delta eco-system has been clearly acknowledged, by the declaration of this National park as an area of special protection for birds on an international level (ZEPA). Visitors to this area, can enjoy some really privileged views from the watch towers and observation points in the Park.
