I visited Multan in July 2016, that was a hot month of summer and I really didn't enjoy the stay due to the heat Stroke. But I recommend visiting this city only during November to February. Shah Rukn-e-Alam | Bahauddin Zakariya Tomb - Multan - Pakistan
Sheikh Rukn-ud-Din Abul Fateh, commonly known by the title (Shah) Rukn-e-Alam (Pillar of the World) (1251–1335), was an eminent Sufi saint from Multan in modern-day Pakistan who belonged to Suhrawardiyya Sufi order. The saint is still revered today and his tomb is the focus of the pilgrimage of over 100,000 pilgrims from all over South Asia. Shah Mehmood Qureshi current Sajjada Nashin and custodian of the Mausoleum of Shah Rukn-e-Alam. The tomb was built between 1320 and 1324 CE in the pre-Mughal architectural style.
Baha-ud-din Zakariya (Urdu and Persian: بہاؤ الدین زکریا) (1170 – 1262), also spelled as Bahauddin Zakariya, and also known as Baha-ul-Haq and Bahauddin Zakariya Multani, was a Sufi of Suhrawardiyya order (tariqa). From Kot Kehror (Karor Lal Esan), a town of the Layyah District near Multan, Punjab, Pakistan

Multan among the oldest cities of Indus valley civilization. the city was founded by a great-grandson of Noah but According to Hindu mythology, Multan was founded by the Hindu sage Kashyapa, Multan was ruled by different empires, Trigarta Kingdom, Alexander the great, Muhammad bin Qasim, Abbasi, Ghaznvi, Ismaili, Ghouri, Turk, Tughliq, Timuri, Suri, Mughal, and Sikh, On 22 January 1849 The British breached the walls of the Multan Fort with the help of this cannon. it was the last day of Sikh Empire in Multan. After independence from the British Raj in 1947, The Punjab Govt first time inaugurated Mega Project Multan Metrobus System on Jan 24, 2017. The Multan Metrobus route is 18.5 kilometers long, with 12.5 kilometers elevated section. It has 21 bus stations, with 14 elevated stations and seven ground level stations. The total cost of Rs. 29 billion for 18.5 kilometers making it Rs 1.61 billion per Kilometer. A ticket is cheap only 20 rupees, It is a good facility for poor people.
