The country-house (sea view) is fully immersed in a large olive grove which borders with other various olive groves. The house is about km 1 from the center of the villages of Castrignano del Capo and Santa Maria di Leuca, It is located in an area of county-houses.
The project is developed in complete harmony with the original architecture of Salento country-houses and whole respect of the surrounding environment (the country of Salento).
Authentic materials have been solely used and traditional methods have been exclusively employed during the building of the house. Original materials have been employed such as stone (from Lecce) for pavings and floors, stone wall (double --wall), terrace floor in stone (called Chianca or Leccese stone) or coccio-pesto (mixture of local crushed stones, clay and broken bricks).
Castrignano del Capo has a beautiful antique historical center rich of palaces, antique squares and antique baroque churches.
The house is about 1 km from sandy beaches and rock beaches on the Jonio sea. It is about 20 minutes approx from two go-kart circuits and from the Golf Club called Acaja and Lecce, a beautiful baroque town.
View: from the house you can appreciate an exciting sea view and moreover the real and typical view of Salento: the olive grove from every single window, door or terrace! And the absolute silence ... except cicadas during the summer!
