ISRAEL BEACHES | HAIFA, STUDENTS BEACH - 4K UHD

Welcome to Haifa's Student beach, one of the most visited beaches in Haifa.

Students beach is the farthest south beach in Haifa beach strip as for this day. It is named so since in it's first years of popularity it attracted young people and students from Haifa University and Technion due to its non-commercial nature, space and privacy it provided. Nowadays the beach is very popular, especially after it was declared as a formal Haifa beach.

Location:
Students beach start where the Dado Beach boardwalk ends (due south). The beach stretches over 500-1000 meters.

The Students beach is the last beach to the south in Haifa's beaches strip. North of it is Dado and Carmel beaches. The beach is also close to Hof HaCarmel CBS and Train station.

One of the entrances to the beach is located on route number 2 (Haifa Tel-Aviv route). The beach is located 10Km north of Atlit beach.

People on the beach:
You will find all kind of people on that beach, but mainly younger people.

Beach Environment
It is a beach under development. There is no boardwalk, just send. Unlike nearby Dado and Carmel beaches, there are no grass patches or paved surfaces. The beach can be very dirty sometimes, people don't always pick up their garbage. The occasional cigarette filter or a beer bottle cap in the send is a common site.

The beach is currently undergoing a facilities improvement project. More pergolas are added, lifeguard towers and more.

Transportation and Parking
Due to it's proximity to Hof HaCarmel CBS and Train Stations it is easy to visit the beach from almost everywhere in the area of Haifa and even farther. Walking from the bus/train station takes 5-10 minutes.

The is free parking near the beach. During the bathing season, it is harder to find available parking space so you better arrive early or by bus/train if you do not want to waste time looking for parking.

If you are in the area and looking for a bus or train, you can try moovit to get bus lines since they may change from time to time.

What Is In The Area
The beach is located near Leonardo Plaza Hotel (15-minute walk), Haifa Congress center, Haifa mall (15 - 20-minute walk) and Sami Ofer Stadium (25 minutes walk) if you are a Football (Soccer) fan.

As mentioned, Hof HaCarmel CBS and train stations are also close by (5-10 minute walk).

Carmel Spa resort is 15 minutes drive' as well as other Carmel mountain attractions.

This video was filmed during the morning hours. The beach is typically crowded during the noon and evening.

The peak time of the beach is noon on Saturday.

Every Israeli will tell you that the beach is one of the most beautiful places in Israel. You can't resist the nice sea water of the Mediterranean.

You can find many activities on the beaches of Israel. Some offer parties, some the possibility to play games like volleyball or beach soccer or football and more.

The weather on the beaches in Israel can get really hot. It is highly recommended to have sun protection and plenty of water when you visit the beach in summer time and winter time.

Road trip to Nahariya on the northern coast of Israel.

Нагари́я (ивр. נהריה‎ Нагария; иногда передаётся как Наари́я) — город в Северном Округе Израиля. По данным на 2009 год, в городе проживали 60 000 жителей[1], площадь, находящаяся под управлением городского муниципалитета — 10,5 км².
В городе проживают 48,200 жителей (по результатам переписи 2003 года), аппроксимация государственного комитета статистики на 2004 год — 49,300 человек, из них 97,3 % евреев[1]. В 1990-х годах население города выросло на 7000 человек за счёт репатриантов из бывшего СССР. В городе есть центр абсорбции, помогающий новым репатриантам влиться в израильское общество.
Стоимость трёхкомнатной квартиры на съём — 500—800 долларов в месяц, на покупку — 160—180 тыс. долларов[3]. Районы города отличаются высоким уровнем культуры быта — здесь много цветников, зелени, очень чисто. Скамейки, заборы и большинство зданий покрашены в неизменный белый цвет в соответствии с постановлением главы муниципалитета Жаки Сабагом, управляющим городом без малого 20 лет. В конце 2011 года была открыта новая набережная соединяющая центр города и южный район Айн Сара. Венчает променад единственная в своём роде детская площадка с множеством аттракционов для разных возрастов, а также изготовленные по заказу гигантские картины с изображением герба государства Израиль, герба Нагарии и девизом города «Нагария — для любящих жизнь!». Колоссальные размеры вышеописанных картин позволяют с лёгкостью различить начертанное даже с орбитальных станций.
