There’s so much to discover in Wales, any hour of the day. Tuck into tasty street food, board a steam train to Mount Snowdon and take a dip in an infinity pool.

Weekend in Wales: a Swansea Bay family adventure | AD Press Trip
We were invited to visit Swansea, Mumbles and the Gower Peninsular by Visit Swansea Bay. During our long weekend we visited some of the region's wonderful coastline and family-friendly attractions. We were also invited to stay at Bryn Parc - a Home from Home holiday cottage in Mumbles. This give you a taster of our visit.
For a full tour of Bryn Parc check out my Facebook Live videos (it's in two parts as I lost wifi half way round!)
For an overview of out weekend, I've written all about the places we visited, stayed and ate on my blog:
Disclosure: we were guests of Visit Swansea Bay and Home from Home. All views are my own and those of my family.

Hi there, I’m Claire – a mid-30s mummy to a busy primary schooler and smiley toddler, and wife to a Royal Navy Officer.
Tin Box Traveller is a UK family travel blog that I use to share our adventures and inspire others to explore new places. I’ve been a wanderer from the day dot. Some of my earliest memories are from living in Hong Kong while my dad was working there until I started school.
Back in the UK my weekends and holidays as a pre-teen and teen were spent caravanning all over the UK. So it’s no surprise that exploring the great outdoors and new places are two of my biggest passions. Meet the rest of the team:

It is possible to ascend Crib Goch from Bwlch y Moch SH663552 or from Nant Peris, an ascent via Cwm Beudu Mawr.
From the col the ridge rises again, joining the main Snowdon ridge via the sister peak Garnedd Ugain in the west. Here the path meets the Pyg Track (which descends to Pen-y-Pass) at Bwlch Glas (marked by a large standing stone), before the final climb to Snowdon summit. To the south of the arête lie the lakes of Glaslyn and Llyn Llydaw. To the north is the Llanberis Pass. Crib Goch is classed as a Welsh 3000er and is also often climbed as the first part of the Snowdon Horseshoe, which goes on over Garnedd Ugain, Snowdon and Y Lliwedd, before returning to Pen-y-Pass.
Crib Goch is one of the wettest spots in the United Kingdom, with an average of 4,473 millimetres (176.1 in) rainfall a year over the past 30

I undertook this trip May / June 2013, I forget the exact time, when a late spring was evident in Wales after the strangely extended winter.
The Lledr Valley and town of Dolwyddelan are one of the loveliest parts of Snowdonia. The area is relatively rough, by which I mean not especially touristy, but the views and attractions are very fine.
It's still relatively easy in Wales to find quiet places free of crowds. This trip shows one of them. The Moelwyns are an easy but rewarding range of Snowdonia hills including Moel Siabod, Moel Druman which is near where I camped, and Cnicht.
It was a good trip: walking, wild camping, photographing.
