A tour of the stunning Willington Hall, Cheshire
This beautiful 19th century country house has four rooms licensed for weddings, to cater for up to 150 guests. Willington Hall's events management team handle every detail - and a whole host of activities are available, including archery, duck herding, falconry and even hovercraft racing! Rowton Hall Wedding Video - Katy & Greg
Rowton Hall is a Cheshire wedding venue just 2 miles from the centre of Chester. The main Georgian house was built in the 18th century and is set in 8 acres of gardens.
Katy and Greg planned their wedding day in this unique setting, from getting ready in the morning, right through to the evening celebrations. With bride and groom both getting ready at Rowton Hall, I was able to capture some great footage of both of them and their entourages getting prepared for the big day.
Rowton Hall combined grandeur, with the feeling of a very cosy, comfortable home, as everybody is so well looked after.
Katy & Greg's ceremony took place in the Ballroom, a truly grand, romantic space for such an important occasion. During the ceremony, I like to film with at least 2 cameras, one of which is at the rear of the aisle. It was this camera that captured Greg's meaning face as Katy walked down the aisle towards him. Katy looked stunning in her dress, so it's no surprise Greg was so happy.
The ceremony went perfectly, and the weather later on was lovely for the happy couple and their guests to enjoy the fantastic gardens that this Cheshire venue has to offer.

penalty corner awrded to Northop Hall hockey club against Stockport Bramhall
Northop Hall Hockey Men's 1s club had been playing well throughout the game with an unassailable lead of 6-1. Quick play, thinking and movement have been key ingredients to their dominance. In the dying minutes of the second half Northop Hall are awarded a penalty corner. The umpire blows his whistle for last play of the game. Everyone takes their places at the top of the D and in goal. The ball is injected by Aled with Harpal trapping the ball at the top of the D. Ed Iffla passes the ball with speed and accuracy to Ciaran who gets a deflection off his stick for the ball to be placed in the top right hand corner of the net. The game ends with a 7-1 victory for Northop Hall.
