Noyers is a commune in the Yonne department in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in north-central France. There are half-timbered houses, ashlars, pillars and pinnacles. There are many cobbled lanes and small squares made of chalky and granitic pavements. There are towers surrounded by the river Serein loops. It has retained much of its medieval appearance with many buildings dating from the 16th century, and is a popular tourist destination with several restaurants, art galleries, a pottery and a museum. The centre is pedestrianised on Saturdays and Sundays in summer. The village also holds two large truffle fairs in November where locally picked fresh truffle...

Nigloland is a amusement park located in Dolancourt in the French county l'Aube. This is one of the most visited parks in France after Disneyland Paris and Parc Astérix. Nigloland was created by two brothers, Patrice and Philippe Gélis. The park opened June 13, 1987. The name Nigloland comes from its mascot, Niglo, meaning hedgehog in Romani.The park is divided into four areas: The canadian village, The rock'n'roll village, The magical village and The swiss village.

2. Abbaye de Fontenay Montbard
The Abbey of Fontenay is a former Cistercian abbey located in the commune of Marmagne, near Montbard, in the département of Côte-d'Or in France. It was founded by Saint Bernard of Clairvaux in 1118, and built in the Romanesque style. It is one of the oldest and most complete Cistercian abbeys in Europe, and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. Of the original complex comprising church, dormitory, cloister, chapter house, caldarium, refectory, dovecote and forge, all remain intact except the refectory and are well maintained. The Abbey of Fontenay, along with other Cistercian abbeys, forms a connecting link between Romanesque and Gothic architectures.

Mailly-le-Château is a commune in the Yonne department in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in north-central France. The lower village is on the left bank of the River Yonne, adjacent to the Canal du Nivernais. The upper village is noted for its 14th-century fortified castle and the 13th-century church of St Adrian.

EZE is a must visit place on the French Riviera. Located conveniently between Nice and Monaco, Eze is both picturesque and historic. The medieval village is perched highly on a rocky cliff 427 metres above sea level overlooking the Mediterranean sea. On the top of the village are located the beautiful Jardin Exotique. To visit the exotic botanic garden there is a 6 euro entrance fee which is absolutely worth. An impressive collection of cactus, plants and rare vegetation surrounds the remains of an ancient chateau and breathtaking panoramic views can be observed.
The old town of Eze is very charming with tiny narrow cobblestone walkways and beautiful medieval buildings.
The Eze beach is located right below the Eze train station.
The beach is long, but narrow with big pebbles and calm waters.

Beaune, in the Burgundy region of France in 4 days including Nuits Saint Georges and Dijon

We stayed just outside the historic town centre which is surrounded by a moat and which wall. The Bouzaize river flows under the town, there is a wash house, Lavoir St Jacques, built 1887, on its banks. We took the tourist train for an orientation trip of the town and surrounding area then visited the famous hospice for the poor built 1443 and the Collegiale Basque Notre Dame. The next day we went to Nuits Saint Georges with the Elise St Symphorien (13th century), the museum (which was closed), bought some wine at L’Imaginarium (which had a video show of the history of their wine as well as a tasting) and finally Abbaye Notre Dame de Citeau, a Cistercian Abbey. The next day we bought a picnic and hired bikes to cycle along the very well marked “Route des Grands Crus” through the vineyards visiting Pommard, Meursault and finally Volnay where we bought a few bottles of the excellent wine we tasted. On the last day we visited The Well of Moses (1400) on our way to Dijon which has more to it than mustard. Dijon has an excellent “Owl Trail” which winds through the lovely old town past all the well known sights such as their Notre Dame, their busy market, and old buildings such as Maison Milliere (1483), le Nef, the Palais des Ducs de Burgundy with the Tombs of Philip the Bold and John the Fearless and the Cathedral Saint Benign. Before we left Beaune we spent the morning in their excellent Saturday Market.
