A Tourist's Guide to Nuku'alofa, Tonga
Part 5 of my South Pacific Trip.
After a night in an airport hotel in Fiji, I jet off to the Kingdom of Tonga. The capital, Nuku'alofa is a sleepy town with a fair smattering of palm trees, foraging pigs and piglets and plenty of (friendly) stray dogs. There's also some big fruit bats.
My full day in Tonga happened to be a Sunday, a day where everything closes except for the churches. So I visit one and listen to some singing before catching a ferry over to Pangaimotu Island.

Hello Lovelies,
I've been away for a while but here is a treat for you until I am back in the states!!! This is only episode 1 of my trip to Tonga. It's been a GREAT experience coming back to my homeland and seeing the house I grew up in to the school that I attended.
Everything here seems to be the way that I remember even the faces of the ones I love. They seem to never really age here as if I'm stepping into a time machine. I've enjoyed visiting our plantation that I used to run around freely in with my siblings. Swinging on vines pretending to be 'George of the Jungle' to feeding the pigs that we would later kill and eat. HAHAHA. These were the days! Days without social media, days where we didn't really talk back to our parents, days where we all lived in the same house... Now, we are all grown up but it was sooo good to come and relive some of those memories.
From rollerblading in the rain with my siblings, eating the same food EVERY Sunday (UMU), making home videos, spending a lot of time with family, having family prayers every night before bed and so much more. All the things that cost absolutely nothing - THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE!
Don't take things for granted and learn to be thankful each and EVERYDAY!
Wake up each morning and write down a few things that you are thankful for. Focus on the positive...
Until my next video,
Lesieli

Looking plant called 'cafe' like thick trees, bake and eat peeled. Tonga has a rich variety of agricultural products was much more than expected. What's this? Oh, breadfruit, Eat this, how? From the street selling food stuff whether it is also rich in four seasons, it is only the person to live comfortably.

Kingdom of Tonga Vavau Island Group South Pacific Travel Destination
Tonga is a magnificently beautiful country. The Kingdom is a constitutional Monarchy, modeled after England and uses English law as its base. Located in the grand South Pacific, Tonga is between Tahiti and Fiji, an independent island nation in the southern Pacific Ocean, located approximately 650 km (approximately 400 mi) southeast of Fiji and approximately 1,850 km (approximately 1,150 mi) northeast of New Zealand. Tonga is the only remaining Polynesian monarchy. The Vava’u Island Group. This Cluster of islands, North of the Ha’apai Group, is the most spectacular in Tonga. Vava’u is Tonga’s northern island group, made up of over 60 high and thickly forested isles. An attractive, rather hilly main island surrounded by many others, Vava’u has high cliffs which combine to create many deep fiord-like bays. There are many good beaches but you will have to look for them. The main town of Neiafu is built on a hillside facing Port of Refuge Harbor, one of the best in the South Pacific. Neiafu, the administrative capitol of the Vava‘u Island Group, is one of Tonga’s principal ports. Rich, volcanic soils help make agriculture the primary economic activity in the islands, and products include copra, vanilla, and pumpkins. Vava’u Island is rather large and has kilometer after kilometer of beautiful countryside making for some interesting bicycle rides.
