Zalesie [zaˈlɛɕɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nurzec-Stacja, within Siemiatycze County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus. Kruszyniany [kruʂɨˈɲanɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Krynki, within Sokółka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus.The village has a population of 160. In the past, it was primarily a Lipka Tatar settlement. Up until this day, the Tatars still remain as the only minority in the village. The Tatars are Sunni Muslims. Sites of interest in the village include a wooden mosque from the 18th century , a Muslim cemetery and an Eastern Orthodox cemetery with an Orthodox church. The village was named one of Poland's official national Historic Monuments , as designated November 20, 2012. Its listing is maintained by the National Heritage Board of Poland.

The largest of Poland’s 23 National Parks, the Biebrza National Park was created on September 9, 1993. Its total area is 592.23 km2 , of which forests cover 155.47 km², fields and meadows covering 181.82 km² and marshes with an area of 254.94 km².

Wymiana młodych rolników Polska - Texas to program organizowany od 2013 roku przez Polski Związek Producentów Roślin Zbożowych we współpracy z Agro Business Klubem oraz Centrum Doradztwa Rolniczego w Brwinowie.
Program skierowany jest do młodych ludzi, którzy wiążą swoją przyszłość z gospodarstwem rolnym. Ma dostarczyć im wiedzy i doświadczenia, które będą przydatne w dalszej pracy w gospodarstwie. Program realizowany jest w Polsce i w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Co roku w tym samym czasie polscy rolnicy wyjeżdżają na fermy do Teksasu, a młodzież z Teksasu przyjeżdża do polskich gospodarstw.

Długość trwania programu: 5 tygodni
Wymagany wiek uczestników: 20-30 lat
Tematyka: produkcja zbóż, kukurydzy, sorgo, mleka i trzody chlewnej
Wymagane wykształcenie: ukończona szkoła średnia lub studia wyższe kierunki rolnicze
Wymagania językowe: co najmniej podstawowa znajomość języka angielskiego umożliwiająca samodzielną komunikację
