Top 10 things to do on Nusa Penida Bali
Nusa Penida is an island located just off the southern coast of Bali.
Although it’s only a short 30-minute boat ride from Sanur ,a 10-min
ride from neighboring Nusa Lembongan & 1-hour ferry boat from
padang bay, Nusa Penida is still impressively untouristy.
Nusa Penida Island is quite large compared to Nusa Ceningan and
Nusa Lembongan. Therefore you may want to consider spending
2-3 nights on the island if you would like to see all of the points
of interest without having to rush.
If you’re up for a little adventure , then we highly suggest a visit to
Nusa Penida.

Nusa Lembongan Island: Things to Do in Nusa Lembongan
What to see and do on Nusa Lembongan Island, Indonesia? This video features the best of Nusa Lembongan Island and a 2-day itinerary. Nusa Lembongan Island is a super-chilled out tropical paradise only a 30-minute boat ride from Bali. It's got gorgeous blue-turquoise water, dreamy white sand beaches and boutique bungalows. There are no cars around; just motorbikes, bicycles, small converted pick-ups and golf carts.
There's some superb snorkeling and scuba diving on Nusa Lembongan - including the possibility of seeing some manta rays. There's also surfing, stand-up paddle boarding; kayaking in the mangroves; and even cliff jumping.
It's easy and cheap to rent a scooter and ride around the island. The whole island is only a few kilometers long. From Nusa Lembongan Island you can easily get to the neighboring Nusa Ceningan by the rickety suspension bridge. Ceningan is even smaller than Lembongan but has some great spots to check out.
Nusa Lembongan Island 2-day itinerary
Day 1 - Nusa Lembongan & Nusa Ceningan:
Mushroom Beach. It's a beautiful white sand beach with several restaurants and hotels as well as some touristy activities like banana boat rides. A bit busy but still a gorgeous spot for a long lunch and a swim if you like.
Dream Beach. A stunning little beach towards the south end of the island.
Devil's Tear. Just a few minutes' walk from Dream Beach, this rocky outcrop is a glorious spot to watch crashing waves and water plumes - although this is dependent on conditions.
Ride over the narrow, yellow and rather rickety suspension bridge to neighboring Nusa Ceningan. Check out (and smell) seaweed from the many seaweed farms drying on the sides of the road.
Ceningan Cliffs Restaurant has stunning views towards Nusa Penida. A great spot for lunch or a cold one.
Blue Lagoon Cliff Jumping area. On the day of our visit it pretty much looked like the ocean was boiling and there were huge waves crashing into the cliffs. On a calm day it MAYBE would be ok to jump in. Jumping or no jumping, it's well worth the ride over as the views are stunning and the Blue Lagoon is just that - incredibly blue.
Day 2 - Snorkeling Trip around Nusa Lembongan & Nusa Ceningan:
Private snorkeling trip around the islands in a traditional fishing boat. Stop at three spots: Mangrove Point, 'The Wall' and Crystal Bay.
Afternoon relaxing on Mushroom Beach.
Dinner at Tamarind Beach watching the stunning sunset and the volcanoes on Bali looming in the distance.

NUSA LEMBONGAN, BALI - AMAZING PARADISE ISLAND | VLOG #16
Nusa Lembongan is just a boat ride away from Bali and is very special to us. Not because it is an amazing paradise island, but because we met each other here 2 years ago! It is very different and smaller than Nusa Penida, but it definitely offers a lot of cool stuff such as beaches (especially Dream Beach), snorkelling spots, water sports, surfing opportunities, a mangrove forest and a famous spot called Devils Tear. We didn't go to the nearby Nusa Ceningan as the bridge that connected Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan has sadly collapsed in 2016, therefore it became quiet hard to get to the other side. Apart from that we like Nusa Lembongan a lot better anyway, the only reason to go to Ceningan for us was the cliff jump which wasn't possible due to the strong currents in the ocean, but hopefully a new bridge will be there soon so it is easier to also explore Ceningan.

Nusa Lembongan is a small island off the southeast coast of the main island of Bali. Quickly becoming one of Bali’s most popular attractions, this island paradise is a world away from the hassle and hectic pace of South Bali. Neither hawkers nor traffic mar the magnificent scenery; this is a fine place to just put your feet up and relax. Main activities include surfing, diving and snorkeling. The water is some of the clearest you will find anywhere, and a vivid aqua blue in color.

Nusa Lembongan is 1 of 3 Nusa islands off the east coast of Bali. We had a relaxing time here in its quiet and laid back atmosphere. Although the weather wasn't great all the time it didn't stop us from cycling around to explore the beautiful rugged coastline and swimming with Manta Rays.

Bali can be pretty busy, with bad traffic, so I wanted to check out the quieter side: The Nusa Islands.
After a few days in Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan, I wondered if there would be even more adventures in Nusa Penida, AND THERE WERE.
This was by far my favorite part of Bali, and it really felt like Bali might have 30 years ago, like I'd heard. The roads were crazy, the cliffs were high and there were stairs to get just about everywhere, but it made the adventure amazing and gave me lots of exercise too.
In this episode I visit the famous spots like Kelingking beach, Suwehan beach, Goa Giri Putri Cave Temple, Peguyangan Waterfall, as well as spend the night in the Rumah Pohon treehouse.
