Faenza | Italy Without Comment #08
I'd like to thank my company for sponsoring this trip.
This is Faenza, an Italian city and comune in the province of Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna, situated 50 kilometres (31 miles) southeast of Bologna. Faenza is noted for its manufacture of majolica-ware glazed earthenware pottery, known from the name of the town as faience.

With the help of the Drone Mavic Pro Platinum, let's go to the discovery of this fantastic place .. Located just south of the Woods of Macchia grande, the natural monument of the Caldara di Manziana.
An extraordinary place between magic and mystery, surreal and full of positive energy.
Whenever you dive, you always create the conditions for a great adventure.
In the central part of the Caldara, as evidence of post-volcanic phenomena, there is a basin where you can see the explosions of sulphurous water. The origin of this geyser is due to the vaporization of the meteoric waters that in the subsoil come into contact with the still incandescent magma.
The name Caldara derives from the similarity with a pot of boiling water, or cauldron.
In the outermost part of the edge of the crater on a clayey soil there is a grove of white birches (Betula pendula).
The presence of this species, typical of the northern territories with cold climate, is very particular in these latitudes and only 250 m above sea level. This grove gives me so much energy and inspiration to the point to dedicate some of my paintings.
