Offbeat Things To Do In Goa | Querim Beach, Arambol Beach, Anjuna Beach and Curlie's |
Our second day in Goa was about a long drive to Querim beach in the north from our stay at the Lui beach resort in Sinquerim. The picturesque road was a winner in this case. The beach is beautiful with very few people around as compared to any other beach of North Goa.
Next we came down to the Arambol beach.. I found the beach to be most suitable for bathing in North Goa.. Its vast and flat with excellent waves. There are numerous beach shacks to satiate your taste buds. Next stop was the Anjuna beach where we reached in the evening. Anjuna beach is considered to be the best beach in North Goa for water sports. There are numerous beach shacks and operator available to bring out the Adventurous you. Our day ended at the Curlie's in Anjuna Beach where we indulged ourselves in Goan Feni Cocktails, Goan cuisine and Hookah.
Check out the video and let me know what you think about these beaches of Goa.

Goa's most famous beach Arambol knwon for russians
Arombal or harmal beach of Goa is very interesting place it is basically famous for Russians. Arambol Beach, which is also known as Harmal Beach, is one of the most famous beaches in North Goa. This beach lies between Mandrem and Kalacha beach, which respectively lie towards south and north. The beach is basically a 16 km long stretch of soft white sand.
Several shacks and rocky outcroppings can be seen towards the north of the beach. From northern end of the beach, a narrow path leads to Kalacha beach. This path is lined with stalls selling handicrafts, souvenirs and garments, on both sides.
Beach is very clean and very nice. There is nice flea market on the beach. short walk north off the main beach is a smaller beach with a fresh water lake close to the sea. The jungle valley, enclosed between low hills hide a spectacular Banyan tree. Adjoining the banyan tree there is a stone sculpture created by an American Conceptual and Land art artist Jacek Tylicki Give if you can - Take if you have to also called The Money Stone. It has become a pilgrimage destination.
Due to the composition of both, national and international musicians, Arambol is home to a rich live music scene, dominated by Gypsie-Fusion bands.
This place is on the boundary line of Goa and Maharashtra.

गोवा डायरी Goa Diary Day 07/22- Arambol (Harmal) and Mandrem Beach
On 7th day we move from our previous hotel in Calangute to another hotel in Arambol. Staying in Arambol was helpful to visit extreme north points like Morjim beach, Arambol beach, Kalacha beach, Keri beach and Tiracol. Arambol beach or Harmal Beach is one of the most popular beaches of North Goa. Arambol is a small village. There is no auto rickshaw and you will not find any facilities available in bigger cities. Only some hotels and bars/restaurants, not many other shops. The beach has black sand which makes it different. Lot of people bath here as there is less wave and bathing is comparatively safer in Arambol beach. If you walk towards south you will find Mandrem beach. If you walk towards north you will stop at Arambol Mountain which has got magnificent cliffs which we visited on 8th day and I will show you in next video.
Mandrem Beach- Mandrem is a small village in Goa. The beach adjoining Mandrem village is called Mandrem beach. It is just two kms south to Arambol beach. If you walk southwards from Arambol beach you will reach Mandrem beach. The views of Mandrem is similar to Arambol, not much different. However, there are less people and so it may look more wild and scary. If you go further south you will find Ashwem beach.
