Thailand has many clean and pristine beaches.
Thailand has cheap food. Not just street food, but fresh seafood is cheap as well.
Thailand offers expats, and visitors many opportunities to work, and find jobs.
Thailand offers a unique opportunity to build friendships and relationships with the locals. The Thai people are wonderful!
Thailand offers cheap, domestic flights during the high and low seasons. Traveling Thailand is affordable because of these low prices.

Best Thailand Islands: Phi Phi Island
***EXPAND FOR MORE INFO***
Ko Phi Phi Don, Thailand. Phi Phi Island is our favorite place in Thailand so far.
Getting There:
From Krabi and Ao Ngang, you can book ferry tickets at several travel agencies and guesthouses (cost 350 baht pp) which included transport from our guesthouse to the ferry pier. The ferry trip from Krabi to Phi Phi island is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Upon arrival you'll be required to pay 20 baht pp, the national park fee.
Getting Around:
Phi Phi is an ideal walking island, you can walk from Loh Dalum bay to Ton Sai bay in 10 minutes. No major roads exist here, it's a delightfully easy-going village of cobblestone pathways with the main mode of transportation being walking or riding a bicycle.
Accommodations:
Fresh off the ferry you'll be bombarded by touts on the pier, trying to sell you on guesthouses and hotels. We recommend exploring accommodations on your own, it's a very small walking island, guesthouses are everywhere, you won't have any problem locating and finding one that suits your budget and taste.
Night Life
Watch out for staying too close to Loh Dalum Beach, if you want to get some sleep at night, that's not the place. When night falls, Loh Dalum beach becomes the center for night life on the island. Lined with beach front restaurants and bars, the fire shows are great entertainment and the music is pumping until the wee hours of the morning... every night.
Things To Do:
Boat excursions, snorkeling trips and scuba diving are the most popular activities on and around Phi Phi. You can take a long tail boat or speed boat out to other nearby islands, perhaps the most well known destination being Maya Bay, made famous by the movie The Beach with Leonardo Dicaprio. We went on a day trip boat excursion and loved it, we'll have that footage posted soon.
Thanks for watching!
xoxo,
Christine
How to Travel to Ko Samet, Thailand by Bus, Ferry, and Speedboat
#DoMoreLife #Travel #Thailand
This video will explain, start to finish, how to travel to Ko Samet, Thailand by bus, then a ferry or speedboat. You can see bus prices from Bangkok or Pattaya, to the piers where the ferries and speed boats are located. This travel vlog covers the selection of buses to get you to the piers in Ban Phe, and then shows you step-by-step how to purchase tickets for your speedboat or ferry to take you to the beautiful Thai island of Ko Samet.
Ko Samet is located just off the shore of the cities of Ban Phe and Rayong, Thailand. Both cities are located in the Rayong Provence of Thailand. Ko Samet is a tiny, but very popular tourist destination for people who live in Thailand, and for those abroad.

How to Get From Bangkok to Pattaya, Thailand for $3
I traveled from Bangkok, Thailand to Pattaya by mini-van which was only 92 Thai baht, or less than $3 USD. The two motorcycle taxi rides were 150 baht each, or about $4 so total cost of the trip was about $11. The mini-vans leave Bangkok from right near Victory Monument. PS. I was wrong about Ko Samet, it isn't off the coast at Pattaya but further south, near Ban Phe.
