20 Things to do in Kraków, Poland Travel Guide video transcript:
We kicked off this trip to Poland with a visit to Krakow, a city people have been telling us to visit for years and now we know why. Krakow in the summertime was wonderful! We spent our time enjoying castle views from the river side, exploring neighbourhoods covered in street art, eating some of the best pierogie of our lives, and also discovering what we think may be the best ice cream. The following is our travel guide to some of the best things to do in Krakow!
Wawel Castle is Krakow's crowning jewel, and for centuries it was the residence of the kings of Poland. You can see a mix of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque architecture all in one place.
While in the city, we also had to walk the Royal Route, which was once the historic coronation path of Polish kings.
After visiting the basilica, we spent a bit of time walking the Main Square, which just so happens to be Europe's largest medieval town square.
And that’s it for our visit to Krakow! We hope this video gave you a few ideas of things to do around the city. If you have any other places to add to this list or any tips for fellow travellers visiting Krakow feel free to share those.
This is part of our Travel in Poland video series showcasing Polish food, Polish culture, Polish cuisine while visiting Kraków Polska.

►Camera I use:
On Day 27 in Lisbon, Portugal, I made up my mind to eat as much Portuguese food and at some of the best local restaurants in Lisbon. It turned out to be a fantastic day in Lisbon with some seriously good Portuguese food!
00:36 Cafe Martinho Da Arcada at Praça do Comércio - The first place we stopped in the morning is a legendary cafe in Lisbon that is the oldest cafe in Lisbon called Cafe Martinho Da Arcada. The main reason I wanted to go there was to try their pastéis de bacalhau, classic Portuguese food codfish fritters. The coffee and ambience and of the cafe was also nice. Total price - 9.30 EUR
Restaurante Zé da Mouraria (I think it was closed for holidays) - I really wanted to eat at this restaurant during my visit to Lisbon, but unfortunately they were closed for holidays, so if you go to Lisbon and are looking for local Portuguese food, check this place out.
5:32 Restaurante Cantinho do Aziz - For our next meal, although not Portuguese food, but more Mozambican food, we headed over to Restaurante Cantinho do Aziz. The food was remarkable, one of the best meals I had in Lisbon. I first began with some beef samosas which were insanely good, and then had spicy bakra piri piri, spicy lamb ribs. Total price - 35.00 EUR
11:14 Restaurante A Merendinha do Arco - Finally, to try some authentic Portuguese food in Lisbon, we headed over to a restaurant called Restaurante A Merendinha do Arco. This small family run restaurant serves delicious Portuguese food and many of the classics. I ordered bacalhau com grão, codfish with garbanzo beans and carne de porco à alentejana, pork with clams. Along with the delicious local food, what I loved was the ambiance and feel of the restaurant. Total price - 20.15 EUR
22:10 Oceanário de Lisboa (Entrance price - 17 EUR per person) - By this point on this Portuguese food tour of Lisbon, I was feeling pretty full, so we headed over to Oceanário de Lisboa and walked around one of Europe’s biggest aquariums.
24:22 Cafe on Avenida da Liberdade (Coffee - 1.40 EUR) - One of the things I love about Lisbon is the social cafe culture and atmosphere. In the afternoon I was starting to feel pretty sleepy, so before dinner, I had a cup of coffee at an outdoor cafe along Avenida.
25:12 Solar dos Presuntos - For the last Portuguese meal in on this food tour of restaurants in Lisbon, I decided to eat at a restaurants called Solar dos Presuntos. I didn’t know it was going to be such a fancy high end restaurant, but it was our last night in Lisbon, so we decided to go for it. I started with the pata negra, a plate of incredibly good ham. Then I ordered the polvo à lagareiro, some of the most tender octopus I’ve ever had in my life. Finally we also ordered dourada grelhada - gilt-head sea bream fish. The food was expensive, but delicious. Total price - 60.85 EUR.
This was a fantastic day of Portuguese food in Lisbon, and many of the places we ate today were the best restaurants I tried in Lisbon.

Rohtang pass Manali - Dangerous road but terrific scenic beauty
I traveled to Rohtang pass from manali in July, found snow there. Road from Manali to Rohtang is good for first 35 kms but 15 kms short of Rohtang you will experience as deadly road. Most dangerous road, where stones can fall any time on vehicle traffic. Some of my experiences about this route as shown in this video are shared below.
You may want to support this channel:
Distance from manali to Rohtang: 51 kms
Average time taken by taxi: 2 and a half hours.
Places to stop in between: Marhi - 35 kms from Manali
Rahalla waterfall: 28 kms from manali, good place to spend 15 to 20 minutes.
Type of road: Dangerous and risky, sharp turns, curves, landslide can happen any time, stones can fall on vehicle traffic.
Best time to travel:15th May to September, while you may travel there in November as well, but it is super cold, Rohtang pass is open for the period 15th May to 30th November, there after due to heavy snowfall roads closed.
Scenic beauty: Too good to be explained in one video, this is perhaps the reason why people travel this route despite experiencing dangerous roads with landslides that can prove fatal.
We experienced snow in July, did lot of playing in the snow.
Temperature at Rohtang pass on in 2nd week of July : 6 to 8 degrees.
Height : Located at 8050 feet above sea level.
Important suggestions basis my experiences about Rohtang: Try taking an exclusive taxi or go by HP tourism bus- start ealry in morning and try to reach back Manali by 5 pm. So your exposure to deadly roads is limited to daytime only.
Daily basis permit is given to only 1200 vehicles, be careful to book in advance especially during season time, permits can be an issue. If you are traveling through you own vehicle you can get permit online as well, cost of permit is Rs 550 for car or taxi.
Bikes do not get permit for Rohtang.
I saw a deadly accident on the way, a huge size stone had fallen on a car, Thank God nobody got injured, driver and fellow passenger got saved, incident shown in this video.

Breakfast in Ukraine food review in Lviv (Львів)
Come join us for breakfast in Ukraine as we review different food items we tried eating at Post office on Drukarska street restaurant (Poshta na Drukarskiy) in Lviv (Львів). Typically a traditional Ukrainian breakfast might include savory items such as borscht and dumplings but since we've shown these Ukrainian dishes on some of other food videos in Kiev we decided to try a more contemporary Ukrainian breakfast in Lviv, Ukraine by samplings some sweet meals. The inside of this restaurant features old fashioned postcards and looks like an old post office.
What we had for breakfast in Lviv, Ukraine:
1) Cappuccino
2) Crepes with berries
3) Pancakes with fruit and cinnamon
4) Deep-fried cookies with custard (Ukraine: Verguny (Вергуны) & Polish: faworki or chruściki)

Breakfast in Lviv, Ukraine travel food video transcript:
it is breakfast time here in Lviv (Львів) and we've ended up at the coolest cafe ever. It is themed like a post office. There is basically mailboxes everywhere & lots of postcards. You have the little like envelope feeders on the doors. It is so cool. We're going to head in, have a bite of food.
We're inside the cafe our food orders have been placed. Cappuccinos have arrived. We weren't even planning to come here because technically this place specializes in pastas and beers but the one cafe we had walked into first was totally packed. We saw they had a little breakfast section. I mean the place looks so cool. We're like yeah let's eat here.
So let's try that. While you're trying that something to keep in mind while traveling in Ukraine is that we've noticed in both Kyiv (Kiev - Київ - Киев) and now Lviv (Львів) that if you like if there is a really popular restaurant and you just show up like on the weekend. You need a reservation.
A few thoughts on Ukrainian breakfast. When we were kind of researching about what was a typical breakfast in the Ukraine there didn't seem to be like a exact standard. You could have something like borscht, there could be dumplings but we've already shown that in some other videos so we decided to just come and have more of a contemporary Ukrainian breakfast.
In front of me I've got these crepes with apple and walnuts. And just look at the way they've like folded them and like twirled them. Like it is so pretty and it has cottage cheese as well. Icing sugar, cinnamon. Like this is a work of art. I almost don't want to dig into it.
It is breakfast and we are hungry. It looks like a little flower almost.
It looks like berries. I thought this one was apple but maybe we got berries.
The other one would be apple then. Yeah, because the other one has a cinnamon flavor smell.
That is really good. Tasty.
I have to say we have a bit of a sweet tooth this morning. Haha. Both of us ordered sweet breakfasts. Yeah. And it is so nice with this like cottage cheese and all of the icing sugar and cinnamon mixed in together. Sam didn't want to miss out on the Crêpe.
The next dish is a stack of little pancakes here. Dusted with icing sugar if you look down. Yeah.
And it has got um raspberries, it has a lot of cinnamon which I'm really smelling and enjoying. Apparently this is going to be a sour cream based sauce. Those pancakes are nice and fluffy.
Apparently pancakes and crepes were not enough so this looks like what it is like deep-fried dough maybe?
Coated in like sugar, cinnamon and it comes with a little sauce bowl here. This is like a nice creamy vanilla custard. Super sweet.
That came to 207 which is just under $8 US dollars. That was for two cappuccinos and 3 basically mains. 3 breakfast mains including crispy fried cookies, pancakes & crepes. We're full. We'd highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice breakfast here in Lviv, Ukraine.
This is part of our Travel in Ukraine video series showcasing Ukrainian food, culture and Ukrainian cuisine.
