CHORA SFAKION

Hóra Sfakíon or Sfakia is a town on the southern coast of Crete. It is the capital of the mountainous region of Sfakiá, and is a small town with only 2-300 inhabitants. It is located on the south coast near the end of Imbros Gorge, 74 km south of Chania. It has two small ports, where the ferries from Agia Roumeli and beyond west have their harbor. From Hóra Sfakíon, there are also ferries to the nearby coastal town of Loutro and the island of Gavdos.

Hóra Sfakíon eller Sfakia er en by på Kretas sørkyst. Det er hovedstaden i den fjellrike regionen Sfakiá, og er en liten by med bare 2-300 innbyggere. Den ligger på sørkysten nær enden av Imbros Gorge, 74 km sør for Chania. Den har to små havner, hvor fergene fra Agia Roumeli og videre vestover har sin havn. Fra Hóra Sfakíon går også ferger til nærliggende kystby Loutro og øya Gavdos.
