And in all my history classes where we talked about this, I never once thought of a very simple thing: what a beautiful place it must be! And it truly is...The coral and the sea life here are spectacularly pristine!

Most Beautiful Beach in Cuba? (Trinidad)
Where is the best beach in Cuba? We discover Playa Maria Aguilar, just outside of Trinidad which is one of the nicest beaches I've ever seen (and way less crowded than Varadero or Playa Ancon). This beach is a little bit off the beaten path and a real escape. This is the third of my four American Traveling in Cuba vlogs. Snorkeling The Pristine Waters Of Cuba
The best snorkeling in Cuba is arguably found in Cayo Santa Maria, just a 15-minute ride from hotel Melia of the same name. Basecampers Troy, Rodrigo and Liz head to the neighbouring marina, meet Freddy, their guide and boat captain for the day and head out to explore the nearby reef (Though the snorkeling is truly amazing, with countless fish, colors and crystal-clear water, the scooter ride to get there is a cool way to enjoy the scenery, too).
