And in all my history classes where we talked about this, I never once thought of a very simple thing: what a beautiful place it must be! And it truly is...The coral and the sea life here are spectacularly pristine!

Playa Larga | Bay of Pigs | Cuba 2018
Visual postcard delivery!
This time we land in Playa Larga, Cuba.
Super tiny town by the ocean. You go here to rest and relax as there is not much else to do in this town.
The guys went scuba diving and said it was awesome while us ladies snorkelled. Beautiful views.
Loads of mosquitos here, so absolutely make sure you bring bug repellent!
Our hosts were delightful! Highly recommend their place. Breakfast was served each morning out side on the beach front. They also offer delicious homemade dinner options at their place which we had on a couple of nights after exploring the limited options in the little town and highly recommend it.
And now, this is where we say goodbye to Cuba.
Next stop, Merida, Mexcio ! Woo hoo!

Most Beautiful Beach in Cuba? (Trinidad)
Where is the best beach in Cuba? We discover Playa Maria Aguilar, just outside of Trinidad which is one of the nicest beaches I've ever seen (and way less crowded than Varadero or Playa Ancon). This beach is a little bit off the beaten path and a real escape. This is the third of my four American Traveling in Cuba vlogs. My first but definitely not the last trip to Cuba. I´ve only been to Havana, Playa Giron, Trinidad, Playa Larga and Havana again but it was already amazing. Fantastic Atmosphere, friendly people, cool cars, great music and diving.
