Lake Muskoka is located between Port Carling and Gravenhurst, Ontario, Canada. The lake is surrounded by many cottages. The lake is primarily within the boundary of the Township of Muskoka Lakes, the southeast corner is within the boundary of the Town of Gravenhurst and another small portion around the mouth of the Muskoka River is within the boundary of the Town of Bracebridge. The town of Bala is located on the southwest shores of the lake, where the Moon River starts. Lake Muskoka is connected to Lake Rosseau through the Indian River and lock system at Port Carling. Sainte-Marie among the Hurons was a French Jesuit settlement in Wendake, the land of the Wendat, near modern Midland, Ontario, from 1639 to 1649. It was the first European settlement in what is now the province of Ontario. Eight missionaries from Sainte-Marie were martyred, and were canonized by the Catholic Church in 1930. Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1920. A reconstruction of the mission now operates as a living museum. Join us on an adventure that will take you all the way from Banff, Alberta to the beautiful Liard Hot Springs in British Columbia.

Along the way you will see glimpses of Columbia Icefield, the world famous Alaska Highway, the town of Jasper and more.

Beaverstone Bay to Covered Portage via Collins Inlet and Killarney

Follow us as we cruise beautiful Georgian Bay in Ontario on our Mainship 390 Trawler. This segment starts at the entrance of Beaverstone Bay and passes through the east portion of Collins Inlet into Mill Lake where we anchored overnight. The next morning we headed to our final stop at Covered Portage via the west portion of Collins Inlet and the port of Killarney.
