As of now, tourism is still a minor but growing part of the province's economy. Several attractions draw tourists from here and abroad including festivals, beaches, old structures and other sights. The two most prominent and famous festivals are Pahiyas Festival of Lucban and the Niyugyugan Festival.
Balesin Island Like You've Never Seen Before | DroneDiaries | Full HD 1080P
Balesin Island Club is a hidden gem of the Philippines located in Polillo, Quezon province. Experience multiple international destinations in 1 island. Everything from the architecture, interior design, landscaping and food is authentically recreated by the villages in Balesin Island Club.
Balesin Island Club is a destination of unmatched natural beauty located off the eastern coast of Luzon in the Philippines. Balesin Island Club is a 500-hectare tropical island paradise with 7.3 kilometers of pristine white-sand beaches.
Located 21 kilometers southeast of Polillo, Quezon Province and just 60 nautical miles east of Manila, Balesin Island Club is approximately a 20-minute plane ride from Manila, yet is a world completely unto itself. Alphaland Balesin Island Club is your unique, members-only, private leisure getaway-today and for generations to come.
Sections of this island highlighted in this video were inspired by architectural themes from the following countries:
Balesin/Balesin Spa (Philippines)
Balesin’s original Filipino architecture features the best the country has to offer. It is fronted by the best beach on the island, with its long stretch of pristine white sand. The village is near the main clubhouse, the Balesin Spa, the Aquatic Sports Center, the Balesin Sala, and its surrounding villas, guests need only take a short walk to have a swim at the main pool, get a massage by the beach, or engage in water activities.
St. Tropez (France)
St. Tropez offers members and guests a French Riviera experience. Leading up to the village is a long, date palm-lined driveway. Instead of villas, St. Tropez emulates the look and feel of the legendary Hotel Byblos. At St.Tropez, rooms are characterized by their high ceilings and their own balcony looking out at the Pacific Ocean.
Mykonos (Greece)
Mykonos Village stands in contrast to other Balesin Island Club villages. With its whitewashed walls, blue windows and doors, and winding cobblestone roads, it is an authentic recreation of the world-famous Greek isle. Instead of an outdoor porch, each Mykonos villa has a rooftop that comes with a large lounge area and whirlpool tub, making it the perfect place to throw a party.
Costa del Sol (Spain)
Costa del Sol, which literally translates to “Coast of the Sun,” features Spanish colonial architecture with arched thresholds, stucco walls and manicured courtyards. This village draws inspiration from the quaint, coastal towns of Southern Spain. Each of the suites and rooms in the six ‘Casas’ - Estepona, Fuengirola, Malaga, Marbella, Ronda and Torremolinos – opens up to a picturesque view of the Pacific Ocean.
Toscana (Italy)
Toscana Village draws its inspiration from Tuscany, the Italian region renowned for its lush vineyards, olive groves, rolling hills, old-world traditions, and art masterpieces. Toscana Village features many hallmarks of Tuscan architecture and design—arched doorways, terracotta accents, textured stone walls, tiled finishes, and the generous use of natural wood. The suites and common areas in Toscana Village are decorated with rich yet simple furnishings in soft, opulent fabrics.
Bali (Indonesia)
Bali Village's unique villas draw their inspiration from the Salakot, the traditional Asian farmer's hat. The village is located along the same beach as Balesin Village but lies at its northernmost end. Each Bali villa has a wraparound porch that provides a relaxing ambiance. For a more romantic and secluded experience, members and guests can stay in one of the water villas that provide the most captivating panoramic views on the island.
