Sleep cheap: In France, Bayonne, Motorway exit No. 6, at : Premiere Classe Hotel(premiereclasse.com), locked parking space, (Breakfast-French Type, not included), a few more hotels (Etap, F1,Campanile) at the same exit.
Sleep spectactular: In Portugal, Abrantes, some 150 Km away from Lisbon, at : hotelabrantes.pt , fantastic place, overviewing the whole valley, nice architecture, very reasonable price for one night, off season, mid-week.
On the way back: Premiere Classe Hotel, Tours, France(see above...)
Safe parking in Lisboa, big enough for the van, but the gate was a bit tricky:

Sirmione Lisbon Azores Madrid in one trip

It seems that it's becoming a habit now to visit a ton of places in a short sown of time. We've managed to visit Sirmione, Lisbon, Azores and Madrid in just 10 days. True story!

But the Azores beautiful landscapes impressed me the most. The beauty of the area is direct proportional with the caprices of the weather. You can get a sunny day, a cloudy day, a rainy day and a foggy day... all in one day! Yeeeyyy :)))
