Preetz is a town southeast of Kiel in the district of Plön, in Schleswig-Holstein, Northern Germany. Preetz is also known as Schusterstadt because a lot of shoemakers used to live and work in this town. In Preetz are several lakes, called Postsee, Lanker See and in the centre a small one called Kirchsee. The river Schwentine is also going through Preetz.
