It is the northernmost Greek island, and 12th largest by area. Every monday morning there is the market of Prinos. Prinos is at the west-coast of Thassos. The market is an experience that you shouldn't miss. You can see the barkers in action, mostly at the fruit and vegetables shops. The choice here at the market is large. You can get hardware, household devices, shoes, underwear and dessous(!), T-shirts, Jeans, table-clothes, fabrics, numerous sorts of nuts, fruits and fresh vegetables. The market of Prinos is not so big, that you could lose the overview, but big enough to be impressed. A tip for everybody, who wants to buy clothes at the market: Trying Jeans and other clothes happen directly here at the salesman without cabin. Small cafes beside the market place offer the depleted visitor a place for resting. The market of Prinos is a experience, that you won´t forget anymore!
