Pryazhinsky District is an administrative district , one of the fifteen in the Republic of Karelia, Russia. It is located in the south of the republic. The area of the district is 6,389 square kilometers . Its administrative center is the urban locality of Pryazha. As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 14,664, with the population of Pryazha accounting for 25.1% of that number.
