Quan Lan Island, Vietnam
North of Ha Long Bay is Quan Lan Island. If you are looking to escape the crowds of Ha Long Bay then Quan Lan Island is the place for you! Just don't expect much to be open in the winter months and bring some warm clothes. The kids are the only ones that will approach you but that's just because they're curious. Quan Lan Island is one of the few tourist destinations you don't have to worry about constant solicitations from people when you walk down the street. It is also worth noting it is a very quiet place meaning few horns from traffic, no construction sounds, and at 9pm the place shuts down for the night. There are no ATMs on the island so bring lots of money and don't plan on leaving when you want. The ferry doesn't run everyday!

Hanoi, Vietnam Travel Video Guide
Hanoi has a 1000 year history as a city. It has been invaded by the Chinese, French and Japanese. The French Colonial period in particular has had a noticeable influence on the aesthetics of the City. I visit a Bia Hoi Bar where I find relief from the constant rush and din. Lan, a student in International Relations, gives me a half day tour of Hanoi. We visit the flower market, watch people exercise around Hoan Kiem Lake, and visit Lan's favorite restaurant, Hai Vuong Quan.

Overnight in Vietnam (Partying & NightLife in Ho Chi Minh City)
The extreme traveling continues on this Indochina SouthEast Asia tour. Tonight’s vlog consists of exploring Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and checking out the nightlife. We head to party central Bui Vien Street where you can enjoy food, drinks, restaurants, and the clubs of Vietnam. Filled with backpackers and foreigners, Bui Vien Street is where the people go to party. The aura of the people and nightlife here is amazing. Vlog #230
