Things I forgot to mention:
Costa Rica is pretty expensive. All the prices I paid shopping/eating/etc was basically equal to the cost of living in Chicago. For example, my average meal was $15-20.
The sun rises and sets very early here. It's sunny at 6:30 am and dark by 7. The streets were practically empty by then, and nightlife really doesn't get started until after 9.

Costa Rican women are some of the most beautiful women in Latin America.
There are tons of places to meet Costa Rican Ticas all over the country: bars, nightclubs, restaurants, shopping malls, etc.
I'm going to share with you a list of the 8 best places to meet Costa Rican girls before you travel to Costa Rica.
First off, I need to mention that many of these places will have both normal and working girls. In Costa Rica, it’s completely normal for men to have many girlfriends.
All of these places are relatively safe and cheap to access. Some of the nightclubs make you pay an entrance fee, but you usually get a free drink or two. It’s only a couple of dollars so no big deal.
