Flinders Ranges - South Australia
Join us for a look at the wonderful Flinders Ranges in outback South Australia on a two week trip we did in spring 2015 in our Mercedes Sprinter Motorhome the 'Bumblebee'. It also involves some of the 'upper north' and 'mid north' of South Australia.
This is FREE? Flinders Ranges. Ep.46

Overland Trip Report - Flinders Ranges National Park South Australia
A few weeks back I spent four days on an overland trip to the Flinders Ranges in South Australia. The two part travel films are now available in my channel.
After every trip I share various travel information I feel would be useful to anyone planning or thinking of overlanding to that destination.
There are many places to stay in the Flinders Ranges. Accommodation ranging from camping to ultra luxury and everything else in between.
Many pastoral stations in the area has opened up their properties for overland tourists. At the same time the national parks also offer camping facilities.
If you are a 4x4 enthusiast and would like to take in the views of the Flinders Ranges from view points only a 4x4 can get to, then many of the private properties offer 4x4 tracks.
In our case we decided to stay at Rawnsley Park station as our base. Day 1 we did a 4x4 track within the station and on day 2 we ventured into the national park.
Cheers!

From Adelaide the Outback in. Australia
First you see some Christmasgreetings from Adelaide. Then we go to the Flinders Ranges and take there a walk in the Warren Gorge. At the Kanyaka Homestead we visit the ruins of the fist settler in the Outback. But offcourse the Aboriginals were very much earlier there and painted yachtdata in the caves of Yourambulla.
In Wilpena Pound we did the strong Mount Ohlssen-Bagge hike and had at the top a beautifull view over the Pound. Over the salt from Lake Eyre we saw fata morganas.
Alligator Gorge, Mount Remarkable National Park, South Australia
A key conservation area in the Southern Flinders Ranges, Mount Remarkable National Park features a unique mix of flora and fauna of the dry north and the wetter south. The impressive sandstone rock formations of Alligator Gorge are home to goannas, emu's and many other animals that live in this ancient landscape. Listen to the sounds of the birds as the majestic river red gums sway in the wind.

Passport And Visas Requirements To Enter The UK
Please note: Following the recent referendum vote for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), there are currently no changes in the way people travel to Britain. The following guidelines still apply:
If you're planning an adventure to the UK, depending on your nationality and your reason for visiting, you may need to organise a visa.
If you're an American, Canadian or Australian tourist, you'll be able to travel visa-free throughout the UK, providing you have a valid passport and your reason for visiting meets the immigration rules (link is external).
Citizens from some South American and Caribbean countries as well as Japan are also able to travel visa-free around the UK.
European Union citizens, non-EU member states of the EEA (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland), Switzerland, and members of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) do not need a visa to enter the UK.
If you have any further visa questions visit the official UK government website.
