Rewa pronunciation is a city in the north-eastern part of Madhya Pradesh state in India. It is the administrative centre of Rewa District and Rewa Division. The city lies about 420 kilometres northeast of the state capital Bhopal and 130 kilometres south of the city of Allahabad. Rewa derives its name from another name for the Narmada River. Rewa is connected to Allahabad via NH 27 and Sidhi, Satna, Maihar and Varansi via NH-7. Bahuti falls in Rewa, are a formation of water falling from a small height, on the banks of Bihad River. Bahuti falls are the tallest falls of the state with a height of 145 metres. Koeti falls, also seen on the banks of Bihad River is close to Bahuti falls. Bahuti water fall is one of the most famous falls in the whole Madhya Pradesh state,the scenic beauty of the fall can be seen best from July to September. A narrow river name odda which travels 65km distance from its origin, makes this water fall of 364 feet depth. Other two rivers also join the same river before its finish. The scenic beauty is at its best during the rainy season, all sprinkling atmosphere. The tiny drops come and touch the body with a thrilling experience.
