On this day we traveled up the coast to the lesser known beach city called Rio das Ostras, This place is about a 2-3 hour bus ride from the city of Rio de Janeiro but it is worth the travel if you want a quiet getaway from the busy streets of Rio. We ended up doing a trail along the coast and explored many hidden beaches along the way.

For Season, House in great condition, fully furnished, the Rio das Ostras Center, RJ, Brazil.
Duplex House, close to the beach center, with good trade and close to other more beautiful beaches Most with many restaurants close. This is the Oyster River, about 25km(15,53Miles) from Buzios and Cabo Frio.
Note: On the Beach Center, at certain periods of the year, the neap tide, making sand fade occurs. but there is another beach just 50m (164ft).

However, It has the comfort of being close to the best restaurants, supermarkets and beaches and easy transport.

Walled and fenced, quiet, dark streets, paved with treated and piped water, electricity, cable TV on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms upstairs, with internet use mini modem.
ROOMS: 2 rooms, 5 bedrooms (2 en suite) + 2 full bathrooms with a total of 4 bathrooms, and full kitchen. All 4 bathrooms have baths with cabinets, boxes of glass and electric showers, besides the more necessary.
All rooms have a double bed (in a suite has a bed) with 2 bedside tables, mirrored wardrobes. All windows of tempered glass and green with vertical blinds in plain colors varied.
FRONT AND FUNDS: All walled with bars, tank 9000 liters of water, chuveirão for those arriving from the beach.
Still, on the outside contains 2 sets of table with 4 chairs each, 1 PVC and other wood; duplex refrigerator, freezer, and at the bottom a laundry sink;
steel grill with small feet; many empty bottles of beer. Provisionally, are in the house and a table full of renewed snook, a folding chair pool and another stove 6 burners. All this in the loggia.

Kitchen with wall cabinets, 4 ring stove with gas bottle, table containing microwave, blender and electric sandwich maker, electric cooler for mineral water gallon with 18 liters (choice of ice), 2 thermoses for other utensils (pots , plates, glasses, cups and cutlery, etc.., plus another gallon of water reserve.
2 bedrooms (1 en suite), 1 bathroom, masonry staircase with wooden handrail, the room to the 2nd floor.
2ND FLOOR: living room with sliding glass door to the side porch, living room with sofa for 3 persons, wooden table with glass top and 6 chairs, 3 bedrooms (1 suite) + full bathroom, as stated above.

You walk about 5 minutes from the house to the center the city where you will find restaurants with live music and other non-, stores, shopping centers and attractions, public transport costing less than U.S. $ 1.00 per person to other beaches and places of special shows. The center to the nearest beaches you walk 5 minutes.
Taxi can be called by cell phone, which will host orientation.

Didn't really plan this day but it ended up being pretty awesome! We went to Fort Copacabana and watched hundreds of surfers/paddle boarders and body boarders wich was really cool. We then headed to Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas for a bike ride and ended the night at a cool show by the surf band Beach Combers!

In this vlog we got the train up the Corcovado mountain to visit the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. The weather was cloudy but we got lucky and it did open up for us for about 30 minutes while we were at the top so we were able to get some good shots still :D

Here you get possibly the best beaches in the state of Rio and some of the most amazing beaches that you will find in Brazil. This was the best day of my entire trip in Rio de Janeiro and I definitely want to do it all again! You definitely need to go to this place if your visiting Rio de Janeiro!

Located 170 km from Rio de Janeiro is Arraial do Cabo. Occupied in the past by the Tupinambás Indians it holds a high-quality pau-Brasil (redwood). The city served as a stage for colonization, during the Dutch wood trafficking, piracy, and the many shipwrecks.

According to the Museu da Marinha, in Arraial do Cabo, at the bottom of the sea, rests the largest number of galleons, frigates and caravels from the Portuguese French, Dutch, English and even Brazilian fleets The amount is only surpassed by the shipwrecks in Baia de Todos os Santos in Bahia.

Arraial do Cabo was the landing point of the expedition of Amerigo Vespucci, who built a mud and rock house in the Bairro da Rama district, now known as Praia dos Anjos. There, the first factory in Brazil was created.

The small town with an air of fishing villages offers visitors beautiful beaches of white sand and clear water, great diving spots with rich marine life and traditional anchovy fishing.

Surrounded by hills, white sand dunes, lagoons, sandbanks, clean beaches and beautiful cliffs such as the Pontal do Atalaia. The Prainhas do Pontal are among the most beautiful of the Brazilian coast and the hills that surround it reserve an incredible view of the region.

The cold sea in this region allows a rich marine life in the waters. No wonder the city is considered the Capital do Mergulho (diving capital).

One of the top diving spots in the city is Praia do Forno, surrounded by woods, that help to preserve and protect its cove. To get there you need to hike in a trail from the pier to the Praia dos Anjos. The effort is rewarded with a refreshing bath in green waters.

Finally traveling to Rio, Been waiting a long time for this vacation!
