30km: My Longest Run Yet
A cool Friday evening, perfect for a long run across Kakamigahara to Sakahogi and back. At one point I found myself at a dead end on the wrong side of a railway track and ended up trail running through Unuma Forest for about 3km. The last 10km was in the dark so I got to try out my new head light which worked pretty well. I upped the speed quite a bit over the last 10km, too, and felt quite strong. Saying that, my thighs are tightening up as I type this and they feel quite sore! It was worth it, though. I'm thrilled I broke the 30km mark for the first time!
