Salmon is a city in Lemhi County, Idaho, United States. The population was 3,112 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Lemhi County.Located in the Lemhi River valley, Salmon is home to the Sacajawea Interpretive Culture and Education Center, which focuses on Lemhi Shoshone culture, as well as the interaction between Sacagawea and other Shoshone and Lewis and Clark.

Goldbug Hot Springs is a hot spring located in the Salmon-Challis National Forest about 20 miles south of Salmon, Idaho. The spring is along Warm Spring Creek and there are about six waterfall-fed pools. Goldbug is listed as having a temperature of 113 °F , but the temperature of the pools will vary depending on the time of year. The pools have a sand/gravel bottom and are dammed by boulders. Due to the hike and remoteness of the trailhead, it is not usually crowded.Water from Goldbug Hot Springs flows into Warm Springs Creek, which flows into the Salmon River.

IDAHO WATERFALLS

When we traveled though Idaho, the potato state, we didn't know we would come across some of the biggest waterfalls we have seen so far! Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls Idaho, is taller than Niagara falls. The other fall was just a few miles away from Shoshone. Perrine Bridge was another great attraction to catch as soon as you entered Idaho. We both agree Idaho is an underrated state. It is very beautiful! Thanks for watching!

Salmon River Scenic Byway | Visit Idaho

The northern end of the Salmon River Scenic Byway begins on the Montana border at the Lost Trail Pass (elevation 6,995 feet). Lewis and Clark came this way in 1805, and the spectacular view from this vantage point has changed little since that famous exploration of the West two centuries ago. The route follows the Salmon River -- also called the River of No Return -- through the Salmon-Challis National Forest through the historic city of Salmon. The river and its forks serve as important natural pathways into Idaho's rugged back country. The deer, elk, and moose that often graze along the hills and meadows that line this road provide a glimpse of the wild country beyond.

Glacier National Park and other interesting places(please share)

This is a trip I took back in 2010,I was asked by a YouTube viewer if I had any of this information. So here it is.

My wife my friend Dan and I went for a drive to glacier Park, on the way there we stopped at Redfish Lake Idaho, Flathead Lake at the Sitting Duck restaurant, and many other places we really didn't know where we were going other than glacier national Park. So from there on it was just like this go see this and let's go see that.

The park is the site of North America's highest single-structured sand dune which is approximately 470 feet (140 m) high.
