This is the footage from our Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales Chile portion of the Vantage Deluxe World Travel, 2013 Presidents Patagonia Cruise Tour - The Majestic Andes and Chilean Fjords with Pre & Post Trip Extensions to Atacama, Chili and Iguassu Falls, Brazil. We returned from this trip with over 3000 photos and 35 Hours of video. To make it manageable, the videos have been split and produced by location. This 70 Minute Video features our stay in Punta Arenas and Transfer by Bus to Puerto Natalis, Chile. Obviously, the video is intended for those of us that were on the trip - otherwise, you will probably find it quite boring.

Estancia Tipiliuke - Patagonia Argentina
Tipiliuke is a special spot at the foot of the Andes mountain range, in the middle of Lake District Patagonia, just a few kilometers from the city of San Martín de los Andes (10 min. drive from Chapelco airport) where you can enjoy the diversity of fly fishing and other outside tailor made activities year-round as well as authentic refined country-style cuisine and knowledgeable personalized assistance.
Tipiliuke is part of the 20,000 hectare Cerro de los Pinos country estate founded in 1909 by the grandfather of the current owners. Since it is still a fully working farm guests can participate in harnessing the animals and take part in other rural tasks with the farm workers, or just relax in the beautiful surroundings. The tree sanctuary, unique in the province due to its size and wide diversity of tree species, is a magic place as is the 6 hectare tree nursery surrounded by the crystalline waters of the Chimehuín and Quilquihue rivers.

Chile Earthquake Tsunami Hits Santa Cruz, CA Harbor Feb. 27, 2010.mp4
Video of the tsunami surge generated by the Feburary 27, 2010 Chilean Earthquake (8.8 mag) hitting the harbor in Santa Cruz, California. There were at least 4 surges over 2 hours - on each surge the water first went out for 15 minutes and the water level dropped 3-4 feet. Then the water would be still for a few minutes, and then a surge would come back in lasting 15 minutes or so. Estimated surge height from the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center was 0.5 m for Santa Cruz.
