Sunrise on the cliffs in Portimao then a stroll in the port town of Alvor. We continued the road in the mountains to attest of the scale of the fire that ravage the Algarve in the summer of 2018. Finally (because I love it) sunset in Lagos. The best spot! With breathtaking views of the cliffs.

Caldas de Monchique is a village 6 km south of Monchique in the Algarve, southern Portugal. He was renowned for its thermal waters, known therapeutic since Roman times. In summer there are pleasantly cool under the trees in its central square surrounded by a few restaurants and hotels. The spring water flows through the hills of Monchique town where it supplies the fountains in the main square (Largo dos Choroes), then flows Caldas de Monchique where it is bottled and marketed in the Algarve. Caldas de Monchique is situated on the N266 road between Porto Lagos in the south and Luzianes-Gare (municipality of Odemira) north via Nave, Meia Viana, Monchique, Nave Redonda, Viradouro, Santa Olara Saboia and Santa Clara a Velha. There are baths, a quiet and pleasant village, and many dirt roads traverse in every direction the wooded area surrounding the village.
