Japan train travel - Ibusuki-Makurazaki Line - (Nukumi Station to Satsuma-Imaizumi Station)

I took the video when I traveled to Ibusuki City from Kagoshima City.
I took the slow train this time, but you can take rapid or express train to go to Ibusuki City.

(Kagoshima-Chuo Station)
This is the center of transportation in Kagoshima.
Final stop of Kyushu Shinkansen (Bullet Train) from Osaka.
This station is the starting point of the Ibusuki-Makurazaki Line.
The big Ferris is the symbol of the station!

You can take foot bath for free at the station.
Let's also take sand bathj after getting off the train!

The closest station to the sea in Japan.
The train station is also famous for the musician TSUYOSHI NAGABUCHI.


There is a shop selling a SWEET POTATE CANDY at the station.


(Nishi-Oyama Station)
The most southern station in Japan.
There is also an travel information center near the station.
It is the best place to view Mt. Kaimon.




(Makurazaki Station)
This is the final stop of the Ibusuki-Makurazaki Line.
The platform of the station is very cute and won the Good Design Award.

Yakushima 屋久島 hiking (Princess Mononoke forest) - Exploring Japan with Wageofsins!

The mountains of Yakushima (屋久島), a southern island of Kagoshima (鹿児島県), are home to lush forests thousands of years old. Perhaps most famous as the inspiration for the magical forests in the Ghibli hit anime Princess Mononoke, these trails criss-cross the island, drawing in travelers from around the world. These moss covered paths take several days to complete and are home to wild monkeys and deer. This is just a small sample of an afternoon of hiking we did during a visit in August 2016. To get to Yakushima you can either take a flight straight there, or take the ferry from Kagoshima, which you see at the beginning of this video.

Yakushima (屋久島) is one of the Ōsumi Islands belonging to Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. The island, 504.88 km² in area, has a population of 13,178. Access to the island is by hydrofoil ferry (7 or 8 times a day from Kagoshima, depending on the season), slow car ferry (once or twice a day from Kagoshima), or by air to Yakushima Airport (3 to 5 times daily from Kagoshima, once daily from Fukuoka and once daily from Osaka). Administratively, the whole island is the town of Yakushima. The town also serves neighbouring Kuchinoerabujima. The majority of the island is within the borders of the Kirishima-Yaku National Park.

Yakushima's electricity is more than 50% hydroelectric, and surplus power has been used to produce hydrogen gas in an experiment by Kagoshima University. The island has been a test site for Honda's hydrogen fuel cell vehicle research. (There are no hydrogen cars stationed on the island but electric cars are run by the municipality.)

In 1980 an area of 18,958 ha was designated a UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Reserve. In 1993, 10 hectares of wetland at Nagata-hama was designated a Ramsar Site. It is the largest nesting ground for the endangered loggerhead sea turtle in the North Pacific. Yakushima's unique remnant of warm/temperate ancient forest has been a natural World Heritage Site since 1993. In the Wilderness core area (12.19 square kilometres (3,010 acres)) of the World Heritage Site, no record of past tree cutting can be traced. The island is visited by 300,000 tourists every year.

Yakushima has been settled since at least the Jomon period. It is first mentioned in written documents of the Chinese Sui Dynasty of the 6th century, and in the Japanese Shoku Nihongi in an entry dated 702. It formed part of ancient Tane Province. It was often mentioned in the diaries of travellers between Tang Dynasty China and Nara period Japan. During the Edo period, Yakushima was ruled by the Shimazu clan of the Satsuma Domain and was considered part of Ōsumi Province. Following the Meiji restoration, the island has been administered as part of Kagoshima Prefecture.

[TRIPofJHL] Trip to Ogawa Falls, Kagoshima Prefecture

Ogawa Falls(Ogawa-no-Taki) is a great waterfall in Minamiosumi-cho, Kagoshima City. One of the best nature sites in Kyushu.
With massive water falling upon marvelous columnar jointings, this place was used as the location of the famous historic drama Segodon'.
- Starting from Ibusuki, the high-speed boat Nankyu #10 at Ibusuki Port reaches very quickly until Nejime Port. And the entrance of Ogawa Falls Trail is about 20 min travel by taxi.
- The easy trail leads until Ogawa Falls and it's about 1.2km long. There's a great forest with high trees and the river of a beautiful color.

일본 규슈(큐슈)지방 가고시마현 오가와폭포 여행.
오가와 폭포(오가와노타키)는 가고시마시의 미나미오스미초에 위치한 폭포이다. 규슈에서 가장 멋진 자연지역 중의 하나이기도 하다.
경이로운 주상절리 위로 엄청나게 쏟아지는 물이 장관이라 대하드라마 세고동의 오프닝 장소로도 사용되었다.
- 이부스키에서 가는 경우 이부스키항에서 난큐10번 고속정을 타고 머지 않아 미나미오스미초의 네지메항에 도착할 수 있다. 오가와 폭포의 산책로 입구는 그곳으로부터 택시로 약 20분 걸린다.
- 약 1.2km에 달하는 가벼운 산책로를 지나고 나면 오가와 폭포에 도달한다. 이 숲길에서는 높다랗게 자란 나무들과 아름다운 빛깔의 강을 감상할 수 있다.

Các điểm du lịch nổi tiếng của Kyushu - Nhật Bản

Kyushu là vùng phía Tây Nam của hòn đảo chính Honshu Nhật Bản. Nơi đây có khí hậu ôn hòa, đồng lúa mạ non xanh, suối nước nóng và núi lửa huyền bí.
Kyushu gồm các thành phố: Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki, Kagoshima. Trong đó, thành phố Fukuoka có chuyến bay thẳng từ Việt Nam, cách Tokyo 6 giờ và cách Shin - Osaka 3 giờ đi tàu siêu tốc Shinkasen (cổng đường sắt để đến Kyushu).

Ngược lại, Nagasaki là nơi khởi điểm để thăm Unzen. Nagasaki là cảng Nhật Bản được Mạc Phủ Tokugawa mở cửa giao thương quốc tế trong thời gian Nhật Bản bế quan tỏa cảng từ năm 1639 đến 1859. Điểm tham quan chính trong thành phố gồm chùa Sofukuji (còn gọi là chùa Trung Quốc), Quốc Bảo Giáo hội Công giáo Oura và dinh Glover có lịch sử hàng trăm năm. Ngoài ra, du khách cũng được tới thăm công viên Hòa Bình Nagasaki, được thành lập nhằm tưởng nhớ vụ thả bom nguyên tử vào ngày 9/8/1945 xuống Hiroshima.

Bạn có thể đi xe khoảng 2 giờ từ Nagasaki đến Unzen để vừa tham quan vùng cao nguyên vừa tận hưởng cảm giác thoải mái tại các khu nghỉ mát trên bờ biển suối nước nóng. Unzen là một ngọn núi lửa đang hoạt động bao gồm ba đỉnh núi, trong đó Fugendake là đỉnh cao nhất (khoảng 1.360m). Shimabara lại là nơi Lâu đài Shimabara được dựng lên. Tháp canh của lâu đài được trùng tu thành một bảo tàng trưng bày ghi dấu cuộc nỗi dậy đấu tranh chống lại cuộc đàn áp của Mạc phủ Shogunate năm 1638.

Điểm đến tiếp theo là Kumamoto, thành phố cách trạm Hakata 1 giờ 30 phút đi tàu cao tốc. Các điểm tham quan chính bao gồm Lâu đài Kimamoto và Công viên Suizeji. Kimamoto cũng là cổng vào Vườn Quốc gia Aso Kuju. Vườn Aso Kuju gồm nhiều núi lửa như Aso - miệng núi lửa lớn nhất thế giới, độ cao 1268m so mực nước biển đang hoạt động; núi lửa Nakadake đã phun trào cách đây hàng trăm nghìn năm, lần đầu phun trào cách đây 300.000 năm, lần cuối cách đây 90.000 năm. Nơi này được mệnh danh là vùng của lửa. Du khách có thể lên đỉnh Naka bằng 2 cách, cáp treo hoặc xe ôtô để nhìn thấy đáy điểm phun trào.

Một điểm hấp dẫn không thể bỏ qua là Beppu, cách Oita 15 phút đi xe điện, nằm trên bờ biển phía Đông của Kyushu. Beppu là một thành phố suối nước khoáng nóng nổi tiếng với hơn 3.000 resort có nguồn nước nóng, ao bùn hoạt động rất mạnh. Đây là một trong những khu nghỉ mát có suối nước nóng lớn nhất Nhật Bản.

Nếu muốn thăm công viên Nichinan Kaigan, bạn có thể tới Miyazaki, thành phố cách Oita 3 giờ 20 phút đi tàu cao tốc. Công viên chuẩn quốc gia Nichinan Kaigan trải dài khoảng 100km dọc theo vùng duyên hải phía Nam của Miyazaki. Trên đường quốc lộ, du khách được dừng chân chụp ảnh tại Hodikidi pass. Takachio Gorge cũng là một địa điểm hấp dẫn. Đây là một khe núi rất đẹp (thác nước Manai) được hình thành bởi núi lửa phun trào cách đây 90.000 năm. Điểm thu hút chính của nó là đảo Aoshima, một cù lao nhỏ được bao phủ bởi những hàng trầu cau hoặc Biro dày đặc.

Kagoshima cách Miyazaki 2 giờ 20 phút đi tàu cao tốc. Thành phố có rất nhiều danh lam thắng cảnh, di tích lịch sử, suối nước nóng và bị chi phối bởi Sakurajima, một núi lửa đang hoạt động. Du khách mất 1 giờ đi xe điện từ trạm Nishi- Kagoshima để đến Ibusuki, một trong những khu nghỉ dưỡng suối nước nóng nổi tiếng Nhật Bản. Nằm ở cực Nam của bán đảo Satsuma, khu nghỉ dưỡng này nổi tiếng với bãi biển cát trắng mịn và dịch vụ tắm cát nóng để có thể thư giãn và xua tan những mệt mỏi. Không chỉ là nơi du lịch đáng đến mà Kyushu còn là nơi mua sắm tuyệt vời cho du khách.
