It is the oldest church in Virginia and oldest church in British North America of brick construction. The site was preserved for its national significance in relation to the founding of the first English settlement in North America in 1587. Interstate 95 is a major Interstate Highway, running along the East Coast of the United States from Florida to Maine. In North Carolina, I-95 runs diagonally across the eastern third of the state, from Rowland at the South Carolina border to Pleasant Hill at the Virginia border. From south to north, the route passes through or near the cities of Lumberton, Fayetteville, Wilson, Rocky Mount and Roanoke Rapids. The route goes through a mostly rural area of the state, avoiding most of the major metro areas of North Carolina. It forms the informal border between the Piedmont and Coastal Plain regions of the state. There are two auxiliary routes for I-95 in the state: Future I-295, a partially completed bypass of Fayetteville and I-795, a spur route connecting I-95 to the city of Goldsboro.

Cruise Lines Expanding Cruise Holiday Offerings Cuba Europe Caribbean Q and A Norwegian is offering new Cuba cruises with the Norwegian Sun. With a passenger capacity of 1936 this will become Cuba's largest cruise ship to call on her. Holland America is launching the Niew Statendam this fall with a total of 2666 passenger capacity. The ship wall call on the Caribbean for the 2018/19 winter season and then will be repositioned to Amsterdam for the summer Northern Europe season. In Sept of 2019 the ship will ply the waters of the Mediterranean and then will return for the winter season in Miami. Carnival will take delivery of the brand new Panerama cruise ship capable of holding almost 4000 passengers and position her in Long beach for 7 day Mexican Riverera cruises. Passengers may want to take advantage of a pre cruise hotel stay in the Queen Mary which is docked right beside the new departure terminal for Carnival in Long Beach.

Driving to Pennsylvania from NYC

Sunday, April 30th 2017 - Drove from Midtown Manhattan down to SoHo for a small errand before heading out of NYC via the Holland Tunnel. Significant traffic after the holland tunnel, ended up bypassing the Pulaski Skyway connection to 78 and going onto I78 directly(toll). Drove on 78 west for a bit, all the way through New Jersey and into PA. Headed up north route 33 after reaching Easton, PA. Went to the Barley Creek Brewery by the Poconos before taking I80 East back to NYC. Aside from traffic, uneventful.
