Sëlva ( Selva di Val Gardena ) borders the following municipalities: Badia, Campitello di Fassa, Canazei, Corvara, San Martin de Tor, and Santa Cristina Gherdëina. Selva di Val Gardena is perhaps best known as one of the starting points of the Sella Ronda ski tour.

Sëlva is a comune in the Val Gardena in South Tyrol, northern Italy, located about 30 kilometres east of the city of Bolzano. The Ladin place name derives from the Latin word silva.
As of 30 December 2010, it had a population of 2,637 and an area of 53.2 square kilometres (20.5 sq mi). Sëlva borders the following municipalities: Badia, Campitello di Fassa, Canazei, Corvara, San Martin de Tor, and Santa Cristina Gherdëina. It is perhaps best known as one of the starting points of the Sella Ronda ski tour.
The emblem is quarterly, the first and third corners are per bend and per fess nebuly of argent and gules; the second and third corners are indented of azure and argent on a sable top. The emblem represents the insignia of the Lords of Wolkenstein who built the local castle in 1291. The emblem was adopted in 1968.

Dunque è una calligrafia. Ci sono diecimila modi per scrivere la parola neve. È sdrucciolevole. Dunque è una danza. Sulla neve ogni uomo può credersi funambolo.Si muta in acqua. Dunque è una musica. In primavera trasforma fiumi e torrenti in sinfonie di note bianche.

North Italy - Part 2 (Selva Di Val Gardena in Sudtirol)
In the summer I had chance to visit this pictures place which is located in the province of bolzano, about an hour by bus. Truly this place has breathtaking nature specially during the summer no wonder why number of tourist arrivals from different parts of europe and the world , to hike, sightseeing or simply for the relaxation.
I took one rail path and hiked to the top of the mountain by foot (About 2 hours hike) with my Camera and on my way back took the cable car down and tried to capture the best on the way, this short video presents some of it.
It should be amazing place for the winter as well skiing instead of hiking.
