Vishwa Shanti Stupa (English: World Peace Stupa; in Wardha district, Maharashtra, near Gitai Mandir, is a large stupa of white color. Statues of the Buddha are mounted on stupa in four directions. It also has a small Japanese Buddhist temple with a large park. There is a temple near the stupa where prayers are done for universal peace. The initial pagoda reached completion in 1969. New initiatives in 1993 resulted in the present form. It is one of around 80 Peace Pagodas which have been built around the world by the neo-Buddhist organisation Nipponzan Myohoji. These were a dream of Fujii Nichidatsu, inspired by Mohandas K. Gandhi, as a reaction to the atomic bombing of Japan, the first, and more well known Vishwa Shanti stupa, being built on Ratnagiri Hill in Rajgir.

Wardha railway station serves Wardha in Wardha district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is an important junction station on the Howrah - Nagpur - Wardha - Bhusaval - Jalgaon - Mumbai CST line and New Delhi - Nagpur - Chennai line.
The first train in India travelled from Mumbai to Thane on 16 April 1853. By May, 1854, Great Indian Peninsula Railway's Bombay-Thane line was extended to Kalyan. Bhusawal railway station was set up in 1860 and in 1867 the GIPR branch line was extended to Nagpur.

With the completion of the Kazipet-Balharshah link in 1929, Delhi was connected directly to Chennai.

Before establishment of Sevagram railway station, North-South bound trains have to get their engines reversed in opposite direction which was very time consuming process. To avoid this problem, a new station for halting North-South bound trains was established in 1985, named Sevagram railway station. Since then, trains running on New Delhi-Nagpur-Chennai line halt at Sevagram railway station bypassing Wardha railway station. Due to this, passenger crowd is divided in two. Still some trains coming from Ahmedabad and going in south direction have to halt at Wardha station.

Indian woman works on traditional wooden loom in Sevagram, Maharashtra

An Indian woman works on a traditional wooden loom in Sevagram in Maharashtra. Weaving is an ancient art of making cloth and other fabrics and the Indians have been expert of weaving since the ancient period. Weaving is the process of making cloth, rugs, blankets and other products by crossing two sets of threads over and under each other.

Weaving in Indian villages has been a hobby for several centuries now. Weaving has also become a major industry in the contemporary period. Weaving in Indian villages is done using threads spun from natural fibers like cotton, silk and wool and also using the synthetic fibers like nylon and Orlon.

In 1938 Gandhi inaugurated the Magan Sangrahalaya (museum), dedicated to rural enterprise. Arguably, this is the only facility he conceptualised himself, and got to see in its early operational days. The governing body today works with over 400 self-help groups providing training and skills development, sharing new production techniques, nurturing local handicrafts and artisan communities, and spreading the reach of khadi, from farm to fabric.

A Woman Almost FALLS-OFF While Alighting From A Running Train | Indian Railways

A woman holding an infant attempts to step down of the running train (12180 Agra Fort - Lucknow Intercity Express) at Bhaupur, and got lucky as the people present around held her before she fell on the platform.

Although, the train had stopped moments after for around 15 minutes at Bhaupur. We also, overtook Tundla - Kanpur MEMU here. We were trailing it all the way from Phaphund.
