DRIVING AROUND LATVIA AND ESTONIA | BALTIC ROAD TRIP

Hamilton and I travel around Estonia and Latvia - starting in Riga, and stopping off in Tartu, Tallinn and Parnu before driving all the way back to Riga for our last night. On the way, we walk round Estonia's beautiful bogs (genuinely our new favourite place even though the trails were ridiculously icy), visit many an old town and go to the wrong museum without realising until the next day.

NOTE: Bogs mean toilets in Britain. Hence why we childishly found it amusing to say that we were going to walk round the bogs so many times.

This time I was prepared to hike 4 days in a row until the Universe had other plans for me...

I am hiking a trail that leads 820km from one ending of Estonia to another. I will hike it through in sections and document all my mishaps and discoveries during it all. I'm a total beginner in this hiking thing and I will learn on the way. I invite you to take part of this learning process! :)

Take your time and enjoy some breathtaking frames in combination with a great music!
Areal footages taken at Baltic Sea, Gulf of Finland, near to Estonian shore line.

The yacht Tormilind (Stormbird) starts its trip from Tallinn Olympic Yachting Centre, ie from Pirita Yachting Harbour.
The small island in the video is Keri and the one with a small harbour is Prangli.

As an unexpected bonus, the video contains very nice frames taken at open sea about the large container ship AS VEGA, probably on its way to Muuga Harbour. The video ends with a magical red sky in sunset.

All the frames are taken in full manual mode while operating the drone and camera simultaneously.

Lake Peipus, (Estonian: Peipsi-Pihkva järv; Russian: Псковско-Чудское озеро (Pskovsko-Chudskoe ozero), German: Peipussee) is the biggest transboundary lake in Europe on the border between Estonia (part of European Union) and Russia.
The lake is the fifth largest in Europe after Lake Ladoga and Lake Onega in Russia north of St. Petersburg, Lake Vänern in Sweden, and Lake Saimaa in Finland.
Lake Peipsi/Chudskoe (Estonian: Peipsi järv, Russian: Чудское озеро) is the northern part of the lake with the area of 2,611 km2

Baltic Road trip 2017 (Poland - Lithuania - Latvia - Estonia - Finland - Czech Republic)

Sometimes is the best thing to do, just take a backpack, few T-shirts and socks and go straight ahead to unknown.

This montage was made only in one week across Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Czech Republic. 3245 Km by plane, bus and boat. Many happy moments with random travelers and even more moments alone.
