Taipei Main Station can be extremely confusing to anyone including long time residents. I've tried to keep instructions on how to navigate the huge complex simple and if you follow the advice I give, mainly just using the signs above you for directions you shouldn't have too much difficulty getting around. I focused on the Taipei Main Station building where you'll find places to eat, shop, buy train tickets, the Airport MRT, the bus station located at the East Side of the main building, and the other MRT lines. If you are wanting to travel by bus to other parts of Taiwan including the Eastcoast, Central, and Southern Taiwan, then you'll need to go to Q Square where buses serve these regions of the island.

Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, is a modern metropolis with Japanese colonial lanes, busy shopping streets and contemporary buildings. The skyline is crowned by the 509m-tall, bamboo-shaped Taipei 101 skyscraper, with upscale shops at the base and a rapid elevator to an observatory near the top. Taipei is also known for its lively street-food scene and many night markets, including expansive Shilin market.

In the United Kingdom, a hotel is required by law to serve food and drinks to all guests within certain stated hours.[citation needed] In Japan, capsule hotels provide a tiny room suitable only for sleeping and shared bathroom facilities.

We are in Taipei, Taiwan at the Raohe Street Night Market (饒河街觀光夜市) on a beautiful Friday evening. The Raohe Night Market is one of the oldest night markets in Songshan District. To get here we have taken the Taipei Metro to Songshan MRT Station which is a short walk from this Taipei Night Market! Once you emerge from the MRT Station, just follow the signs towards the market. You cannot miss the huge entrance gate to the Raohe Street Night Market or the huge Ciyou Temple (慈祐宮) located right next to the market entrance.
This market is the place to find traditional Taiwanese Street Food, Chinese Street Food and even some western foods. We came to this market to find Taipei Must Eat Foods and we were not disappointed, this 600 meter long Night Market offers street foods to all tastes and nationalities. We enjoyed so many typical delicious Taipei Eats as we made our way through the market.
We really enjoyed visiting the Raohe Night Market in Taipei and based on what we have heard this Night Market is considered one of the best Taipei Night Markets to find Taipei Street food. When you travel to Taipei, be sure to add the Raohe Street Night Market to your itinerary of Taipei Top Attractions to visit.

Songshan Cultural and Creative Park
A short edit of the Songshan Cultura and Creative Park that I visited recently ~ and I LOVED it! It has a beautiful pond and the cutest cafe (which is also a bookstore) and many great exhibitions and design stores. It's a really cool place and I am excited to show you all.
