Sidi Bou Said is a town in northern Tunisia located about 20 km from the capital, Tunis.
The town itself is a tourist attraction and is known for its extensive use of blue and white.
4. Amphitheatre of El Jem
It is an oval amphitheatre in the city of El Djem, Tunisia. It is listed by UNESCO since 1979 as a World Heritage Site.
It was built around 238 AD, when the modern Tunisia belonged to the Roman province of Africa, in the city of Thysdrus.

The Bourguiba mausoleum is a monumental grave in Monastir, containing the remains of former president Habib Bourguiba.

1. Djerba
This is a common site being visited by Jews from various countries. Djerba, the largest in North Africa, is also a popular holiday destination. In the 9th century, under the Aghlabid Dynasty, Kairouan Kian shine, especially in the field of architecture. A lot of Muslims from many countries visited the great mosque of Kairouan, one of the oldest mosques in the world.

A mighty wall surrounds the Medina, the old part of the Tunisian city of Sousse, whose fortifications date back to the 9th century. They were built by the Aghlabides who were strongly influenced by Islam.There is a remarkable gate at the northern edge of the Medina. It is the entrance to the Ribat, an impressive fortress that was built by the Aghlabides in the 10th century. This military building was very similar to a monastery in which Islamic interests dominated the actions of the Ribat’s „Warrior Monks.“ The history of Sousse has been influenced by many different countries and cultures. Carthagian, Roman and even Byzantine influences can be found in the city. Its convenient location, coastline and fertile countryside created a prosperous trading and commercial centre, making Sousse the main metropolis of the Sahel. Stretching out onto the highest point of the Medina is the impressive fortress, the Kasbah, that was built on the foundations of a Byzantine castle and today contains an important museum. Thanks to its special location, Sousse has always fascinated visitors with its rich variety of atmospheric, historical impressions. Thankfully, and despite its warlike past, the Medina of Sousse has been able to preserve most of its original character.

Sousse is a city in Tunisia, capital of the Sousse Governorate. Sousse is in the central-east of the country, on the Gulf of Hammamet, which is a part of the Mediterranean Sea. The name may be of Berber origin: similar names are found in Libya and in the south of Morocco (Bilād al-Sūs).
