Ship Wreck Snorkeling & Swimming Pigs || Spanish Wells, Bahamas
The Swimming Pigs and The Ship Wreck out side of Spanish Wells and Egg Island is a must see when in Spanish Wells! The beautiful clear waters and white sandy beaches are to die for. I was able go on a charter with Captain Tyson Newbold (Ty-Man) to visit The Ship Wreck and The Swimming Pigs. The Day was filled with lots of fun and sightseeing.
If you are ever in Spanish Wells, Harbor Island or Eleuthera and would like to go snorkeling the reef, shipwrecks, spear fishing, trolling, sightseeing, island adventures, feeding the swimming pigs or anything of the sort give Tyson Newbold a call and he will make it the highlight of your vacation!
Need a place to stay while in Spanish Wells here are a few places on the island:
this one is a cottage right on the beach.
and this one is a house 2 minutes away from one of the prettiest beaches on the island.
Both Cottage and House are all fully equipped with free kayaks, paddle board, snorkel gear, beach supplies, GOLF CART and much MORE!
Spanish Wells #7 - The Beach
Saved the best for last. The Beach. Beautiful 'pink sand' beach running the full length of the north side of the Island. We walked in by the school, past the coconut trees and the lilies. Shallow, flat and warm , well sheltered with just enough wind to thwart the noseeums. Like most Eleuthera beaches we only had to share it with a few neighbours - the birds, who couldn't have cared less, and the fish. This is a playground beach - you could waste a full day here just wandering up and down it's length - and it would be a day well spent. Perfect for little plastic boats and baby catamarans. Siggggh. We came across the cottage on the shore that we all would love to own. Perfect way to end our day trip. Location @ googlemap of Eleuthera @ yolotraveller.com

Just So You Know- Credit Cards and Cash on Eleuthera, Bahamas
When people come from other places, they often wonder if there is acceptance of credit cards here by businesses or is it all cash only. Now that isn't a question that can be answered easily and it varies from place to place that you go on Eleuthera. Some places accept them with an additional payment and some don't at all.There are benefits to both but the decision on what to use falls to you. Is using cash better?
