Koi und ich fuhren von Nakhon Ratchasima mit diversen Verkehrsmitteln nach Siem Reap in Kambodscha. An der Grenze gab es bei der Ausreise keinerlei Probleme und auch die Visa wurden promt ausgestellt.

A drive through Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand ( 4 )

Nakhon Ratchasima often shortened to Korat or Khorat is one of the north-eastern provinces of Thailand. The capital of the province is The City of Nakhon Ratchasima located in Muang Nakhon Ratchasima District.
Archeological evidence has discovered that there were two ancient towns that later became named Sema and Nakhon Raj which currently are in Sung Noen district, 32 km west of present-day Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat). Probably, before the fourteenth century, the location of Nakhon Ratchasima was under the Khmer empire's sphere while another town to the north, Phimai, was likely more important.

From 1656-1688 King Narai of Ayutthaya Kingdom ordered a new Korat to be built, to guard Ayutthaya 's northeastern frontier. Nakhon Ratchasima from then on was mentioned in old Ayutthaya's chronicles and its legal documents as a second - class' city of the kingdom. Its governor was named and ruled the city as a dynasty Nakhon Ratchasima engaged directly in Ayutthaya's internal struggle.

This is the restaurant I went often. The restaurant gave me a VIP card. So, any time I go there, I get 10% discount. That means they will not add 10% tips to my bill for tips. But, there is no tips charges for individual lunch special (business lunch) anyways.

In Taipei City, parking is a big headache. But, every time I meet with my friends, there is no problem to find parking space. For cars, the parking is underground. For motorcycles, there are plenty of spaces right across the street in front of the restaurant.

I love their Thai food dished. Price is right. Lots of varieties to choose from the menu. And the service is super.

I highly recommend the special Thai fresh shrimps topped with spicy garlic mixture. But, you have to watch out, they are really spicy hot. After tried one or two, I have to give in and eat without the spicy topping. My favorite dish is the deep fried fish with their special Thai coconutmilk sauce. All seafood dishes are good.

If you do not care for seafood, you may choose other kinds of meat for main dish, and then you only pay NT$160 for one to have individual lunch special. Otherwise, with seafood dishes, is a little more, that will be NT$200.

It takes at least two people to share to order that NT$336/ea. all you can eat lunch special. You may order anything on their menu, but smaller portion at a time. of course, if you specificly favor a certain dish, you may order double that will be full portion.

If you ever have a chance to visit Taipei, you must not miss this extraordinary Thaifood restaurant. All dishes have photo pictures showing in the manu, so that you know what it is you are ordering.

They have eight locations for you to choose. The one I usually go is near the Sun Yet-Sen Memorial Hall MRT station. Take the #2 exit, go straight about few blocks, on the left hand side before the major intersection. You can't miss it!
