Surrey Hills is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 11 km east of Melbourne's Central Business District. Its local government area are the Cities of Boroondara and Whitehorse. At the 2016 census, Surrey Hills had a population of 13,605.Surrey Hills is a classic leafy eastern suburb,situated eleven kilometres from the city. It was settled in the late 19th century and evolved with slightly smaller blocks and slightly simpler housing than its neighbour Canterbury.Most of Surrey Hills' streets are lined with now-mature European trees, mostly plane and pin oak, creating the leafy look that took nearly a century to achieve. It is bordered by Elgar Road in the east, Riversdale Road in the south, Highfield Road in the west and Whitehorse Road in the north.

It is part of the Zoological Parks and Gardens Board or 'Zoos Victoria' which also includes Melbourne Zoo and Healesville Sanctuary. It is situated on approximately 225 hectares and is located on the Werribee River in Werribee Park, adjacent to the Werribee Mansion. It was originally agistment land to the Melbourne Zoo.

The Dandenong Ranges are a set of low mountain ranges, rising to 633 metres at Mount Dandenong, approximately 35 km east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The ranges consist mostly of rolling hills, steeply weathered valleys and gullies covered in thick temperate rainforest, predominantly of tall Mountain Ash trees and dense ferny undergrowth. After European settlement in the region, the range was used as a major source of timber for Melbourne. The ranges were popular with day-trippers from the 1870s onwards. Much of the Dandenongs were protected by parklands as early as 1882 and by 1987 these parklands were amalgamated to form the Dandenong Ranges National Park, which was subsequently expanded in 1997. Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park is a 25-acre biopark within the Pearcedale Conservation Park located at Pearcedale on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne, Australia. It aims to display the fauna that was found in the Mornington Peninsula and Western Port Biosphere Reserve prior to European settlement as well as working towards the recovery of threatened Australian fauna. The park is open all year except on Christmas Day. The sanctuary, as part of Pearcedale Conservation Park, is an institutional member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association . It is ECO Certified at the Ecotourism level by Ecotourism Australia.

When most people imagine the United Kingdom, they think of London, wry humor and polite people. It might seem unthinkable that Great Britain has some real dung piles among its treasures but these 5 cities will have you wondering why there is a “Great” in front of “Britain”.

At number 5. Sandwell
The available jobs in this West Midlands town are so poorly paid that the average resident has zero disposable income. The good news for locals is that Sandwell has a pretty high mortality rate, so they don’t have to suffer for very long.

At Number 4. Gwent Valleys
No matter which metric you choose to measure Gwent Valleys scores poorly. Crime? Check. Poor healthcare? Check. A-hole teenagers all around? Oh yeah. In a country that’s filled with coastline and rolling hills, Gwent Valleys has none of that. It’s just the worst.

At Number 3. High Wycombe
Petty crime and drug use are present; as is a low employment rate. The little money High Wycombe does have it spends on the schools which is great. Of course, that doesn’t do the average tourist any good.

At Number 2. Southampton
Southampton is simply filled with half-destroyed buildings blotting the landscape. To be fair, the place was bombed in World War II. That is a pretty solid excuse, but on the other hand, they’ve had the better part of eighty years to get the place back in order …
