25 things to do in Dublin Travel Guide
So this week we're excited to be exploring Dublin and we're planning to spend an entire week here. This video is going to highlight 25 things to do around the city. Dublin is where most trips in Ireland begin, so before seeing the rest of the country, Audrey and I spent a whole week getting to know the capital. When the weather cooperated we walked around the city, toured Trinity College, and visited the botanical gardens, and when it poured rain as it often does in this part of the world, we just popped into a pub for some Irish stew and a pint of Guinness. The following video will show you a few of the different things to do in Dublin, Ireland.

25 things to do in Dublin Ireland | Top Attractions Travel Guide Video Transcript:
Trinity College was founded in 1592 and it is the oldest university in Ireland. The campus is open to visitors interested in touring the grounds, and you'll also get to hear some fascinating stories of famous students, including the likes of Oscar Wilde, Jonathan Swift, and Bram Stoker.
The Guinness Storehouse is Dublin's most popular attraction, and it's a must-visit for beer lovers. The Storehouse covers seven floors surrounding a glass atrium shaped like a pint of Guinness. Inside you'll also find a copy of the 9,000 year lease signed by Arthur Guinness on the brewery site - they won't be going anywhere for a while!
Grafton Street is one of the main shopping areas in Dublin. You're likely to find lots of musicians, buskers, and performers along here, plus you get a good vantage point of The Spire.
Prior to the establishment of Glasnevin Cemetery, Irish Catholics had no place of their own to bury their dead. This burial ground gave both Irish Catholics and Protestants a place where they could give their dead dignified burial, and it has since become the resting place for people of all religions and non religions.
Experience Gaelic Games is a place where you can come and try traditional Irish sports like hurling and Gaelic football.
The Old Jameson Distillery is the original site where Jameson Irish Whiskey was distilled until 1971. It is now a visitor centre that offers both guided tours and whiskey tastings.
Temple Bar is an area known for its lively nightlife. Located on the southbank of the River Liffey, you'll find all sorts of pubs playing live music once the sun goes down. There's also one pub in Temple Bar, called The Temple Bar, but don't let that confuse you.
And that's a wrap for our time in Dublin! We hope you enjoyed this video and that it gave you a few ideas of what the city has to offer. As always, if you have any other suggestions of fun things to do in Dublin as a visitor, feel free to share them in the comments below. Wishing you happy travels!
This is part of our Travel in Ireland series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Irish culture, Irish foods & Irish cuisine.

San Antonio Distillery, Come and Taste It! on YOLO TX TV
San Antonio Distillery In Gonzales, Texas
#SanAntonioDistillery #Immortal32 #GonzalesTexas
Come take a shot of Texan freedom at the San Antonio Distillery in Gonzales, Texas. Just East of Alamo City, this distillery makes its stand in the birthplace of the Texas Revolution where the first shots were fired. Here, the distillery bottles up the spirit of Texas with some of the best rum in the entire state. And make sure to mark your calendars, every year in the first week of October, the distillery hosts a free ‘Come and Take It’ celebration to commemorate the beginning of the Texas Revolution.
About San Antonio Distillery
GONZALES — Bruce Harborth had a dream that one day he would continue in his ancestor’s footsteps and somehow launch his own rum distillery.
He teamed up with a kindred spirit—his relative Jeremiah Dempsey—and the two hatched a wonderful idea. Why not distill their own rum, and do it in Gonzales, Texas?
So they did it. The result is the opening of the San Antonio distillery on St. Paul Street in downtown Gonzales. The two men, along with Jeremiah’s wife Catherine, opened their doors last weekend to start serving up their own homemade rum recipe.
“My family has a long history of making rum, going back generations to my great, great grandparents. They used to raise sugar cane in the Valley, and of the things they made from it was rum. It is a family tradition, and I have always dreamed of doing that someday.
“Then I was talking to Jeremiah, and his side of the family has a lot of history in, let’s say, ‘homemade brewing and distilling techniques’ so we decided to make it a reality.”
They purchased the building on St. Paul Street, went through the licensing process, began renovations on the building and began the process of distilling.
“Jeremiah is the expert behind the distilling process,” Harborth said. “He is actually a genius. He has come up with a dynamite recipe that contains only products made right here in Texas. Nothing in this rum comes from outside this state, and I think we have hit on the right combination.”
According to Harborth, the only thing he uses out of state are the oak barrels that the rum ages in.
“There is a great story behind our barrels,” Harborth said. “We wanted to find the right combination of oak that would hold our recipe while still giving it an extra special taste. I found a specific type of oak tree barrel that are made from oak trees in one forest in France—and that’s where our barrels come from. No one will ever be able to match our taste—I am so proud of what we have found.”
Harborth is a very proud Texan. His family came to the state in 1860 and were of German stock. They settled in the valley as ranchers and farmers. The rum-distilling passion started with a great, great grandfather, Adolf Charles Harborth. The rest is history.
“We are only going to be open on the weekend nights at first,” Harborth said. “We are still putting finishing touches on the distilling room and we are making a food court out back for down the road.
“Our hope is that once we really get rolling, we’ll be able to give back to the community and bring more people to stay in our town. Heck, someday I can even see us doing our own beer and vodka here too.
“But Gonzales will always be our home.

Erice Travel
Erice Travel - Erice is a village in the province of Trapani on Sicily in Italy.
The entire municipality of Erice has 28,000 inhabitants. Most of them live in the Casa Santa district which is directly adjacent to Trapani city. Only less than 500 people live in the old mediaeval fortification which is unique located on top of the 715 meter high Erice mountain. The city has wonderful views. On a clear day the Mount Etna volcano, on the other side of the island, can be seen. Because of its height it can be cold in winter. On some days the mountain is hidden in clouds of fog. Even on summer evenings it’s advisable to have a sweater within reach.
History
The ancient name of Erice was Eryx (Eρυξ in Greek). With Segesta and Talla it belonged to the largest cities of the Elymian people. For the Carthaginians Erice was of great strategic importance. After the Romans had defeated the Carthaginians the significance of the city decreased and it fell into disrepair. The Arabs who had gained a foothold on Sicily in the 9th century called the virtually uninhabited mountain Gebel-Hamed. After the conquest of the Norman's the city was rebuilt under the name Monte San Giuliano. The city walls and bastions were restored. During the Sicilian Vespers (the revolt of the Sicilians against Charles of Anjou) the city choose the side of the lords of Aragon and was rewarded with the construction of the cathedral. In later years many buildings were realized within the walled city. During the Fascist period, the city regained its original name Erice.
